The Diary of Anne Frank is about a girl that had to go into hiding with her family and another. The Diary of Anne Frank takes place in the top floors of the annex to an office building in Amsterdam,Holland, during the years of World War II.In this story there is a good vs evil because anne is trying to survive the cruel world and she is forced to go into hiding.Anne always has the fear that nazis will find them and take them all away and then separated them. Then Mr.Dussel tried to wake her up to tell her nothing happened but she wouldn’t so he called Mr.Frank.When she woke up Mr.Dussel told her that she kept him up. To support this I have to examples, the first is on (line 1 page 31) in here anne was sleeping and she had a nightmare about nazis and she soon woke up screaming and Mr.Frank ran as fast as he can and he told anne that it was just a bad dream also that they haven’t been discovered yet. What is more powerful -- hope or fear? Some examples of hope and fear are on (line 1 page 31) yes I’m using this again because it's a great example of fear because she is scared of being taken away but she is mostly scared of nazis. The second example is in Night by Eli Wiesel because it's about a …show more content…
kid that went to a concentration camp. The kid went there with his father but her noticed that his father wasn’t talking to him because he is scared of what will happen to him both of these stories have the same thing which is fear. Both of these stories show fear and little hope.
To support that there is good vs evil I used Night by Eli Wiesel, the first example is when the kid was walking with his father and when they were walking the kid saw his dad’s face was blank but the kid told his dad that they can never lose hope. The second is when they were walking and they saw babies being burned, when the kid saw this he was thinking why would they do this. Also when he saw that he was wondering why no one would help them but no one did anything he then said that there is no hope and that no one will save them.A claim that is in The Diary of Anne Frank is that Anne writes everything in her diary but she also paints the whole picture in your mind.Anne would write everything that happened to her that day and she makes it interesting and you can imagine it with clarity. In The Diary of Anne Frank there is a good vs evil type of relationship. This story is about Anne Frank and she describes everything and she also puts the day, month, and year. She also describes how it is going into hiding,Anne Frank was mature for her age and she impacted the way some people think.

The Holocaust was a time in which millions of people were persecuted and mistreated: people banned together and stood up against prejudice and discrimination by actively and passively opposing the Germans. Those that preferred, prepared to resist passively by not using physical brutality, but instead continued their daily lives out of the sight of the Nazis. In “The Diary of Anne Frank,” we see how Meip, a Dutch Citizen resisted the Germans passively, by hiding the Frank family and four other Jewish families in a secret annex above Anne’s father's business premise during World War Two. On June 12, 1929, at 7:30 AM, a baby girl was born in Frankfort, Germany. No one realized that this infant, who was Jewish, was destined to become one of the worlds most famous victims of World War II. Her name was Anne Frank. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank and B.M. Mooyaart, was actually the real diary of Anne Frank. Anne was a girl who lived with her family during the time while the Nazis took power over Germany. Because they were Jewish, Otto, Edith, Margot, and Anne Frank immigrated to Holland in 1933. Hitler invaded Holland on May 10, 1940, a month before Anne?s eleventh birthday. In July 1942, Anne's family went into hiding in the Prinsengracht building. Anne and her family called it the 'Secret Annex'. Life there was not easy at all. They had to wake up at 6:45 every morning. Nobody could go outside, nor turn on lights at night. Anne mostly spent her time reading books, writing stories, and of course, making daily entries in her diary. She only kept her diary while hiding from the Nazis. This diary told the story of the excitement and horror in this young girl's life during the Holocaust. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl reveals the life of a young innocent girl who is forced into hiding from the Nazis because of her religion, Judaism. This book is very informing and enlightening. It introduces a time period of discrimination, unfair judgment, and power-crazed individuals, and with this, it shows the effect on the defenseless.
