GoldieBlox founder and CEO Debbie Sterling bought her idea to Kickstarter after being refused by the Silicon Valley Tech Accelerator Program and the New York Toy fair and hits her $150,000 aim in just four days. How? Great organizations like GoldieBlox seem to create their base by first stating why they exist and the main purpose of their business, then how they go about their mission, and then finally stating what the business really does says Simon Sinek, an author and ex-advertising executive. It may Sound simple, but what Sinek found is that most companies do their marketing in outside in way. They start with their "what" and then move to "how" they do it. Most of these companies don't pay attention to even mention why they do what they do. More shockingly, many business don't even know why they do what they do!

It has to do with the parts of our brain that are busy when we get different types of information.
When we're talking about what, we're speaking to a logical and analytical part of the brain that's tied to language. But when we talk about the why and how, we're communicating with feelings and dealing with human behavior like getting decisions that have no capicity for language says Sinek.

Now Thinking about GoldieBlox under the leadership of debbie Sterling . GoldieBlox is really just a toy company. So what makes it special? because people have never seen GoldieBlox as "just a toy company." In fact, Goldieblox and Barbie sell similar products,targeting the same age group,which is toys for girls, but it's worthy to say that the two companies are held in much different persepective in the public eye.
