Global Leadership Philosophy Global leadership is considered the interdisciplinary study of key elements in which future leaders in every angle of personal experience acquire to familiarize themselves effectively with the physiological, psychological, geopolitical, geographical, sociological and anthropological effects of globalization. Global leadership takes place when an individual navigates collaborative efforts of different stakeholders by way of environment complexity towards a vision by leveraging a global mindset. Business leaders today face many complicated challenges which calls for more collaborative interactions across all departments resulting in better employee relationships. Many of these challenges come from communication methods, external pressures on business strategies or advances in technology. Technology advancements in a competitor or partner are one of the main reasons why consumer is dropping. To bring in new technologies and upgrade existing technologies would require an investment of people, time and money from solution to implementation. Processes that are internal and external should be defined which depends on whom the stakeholders for new service or change is Most companies today use business process management solutions in order to deal with many issues arising as a result of change or technical which is dependent on a part technical solution. Implementation of strategy may be the latter. Let’s say that you want to double your business. You may have to turn to automated processes to make this happen if you do not have the luxury of human resources. These automated processes can support new business. The strategy must first be communicated clearly in order for it to succeed. This way experts in each field can come together in order to devise quick and worthy solutions. When there consist of a drastic impact on strategies leaders should be flexible in re-shaping it in order to suit the direction of the business while they react to the pressure which drive that change. Leaders need to recognize that extreme events can overhaul a strategy completely and they need to impose immediate full scale change. (Clare, 2011) This will lead to collaboration. When change occurs people usually rally together. The leaders job is to ensure that this happens and to support them to the end. This will help to sustain a close relationship beyond the point of
The modern world has experienced tremendous changes, which have contributed to changes in people living in the global world. These changes have mainly been brought by globalization, which is a major phenomenon in the 21st Century. Leaders across various professions, businesses, and governments need to cope with globalization since it forces them to cross borders more often and communicate or conduct business with people from other cultures. This process involves developing necessary skills for working effectively in the modern complex world. Actually, the ability of these leaders to work effectively not only requires the development of essential skills but the application of leadership principles in the global work environment. In essence, leaders must develop their ability to apply leadership principles across culturally diverse workforce in today’s global work environment.
Hollander (1985) defined leadership as the process of influence between a leader and followers to attain group, organizational, or societal groups. Some leaders are innate, however now a days most of the leaders develop himself/herself by education. Education system takes a great place to develop leadership quality in context of globalization. “Students are now consumers who define quality education from a global perspective” (Drucker, 1995). Current education system has been changed in Asia basically in Thailand to create more efficient and effective leaders. There are lots of multinational and international organizations that are operating their businesses all over the world. Because of globalization cross-cultural workplaces has become a challenge for the organization. The culture of multinational or international organization has shared by the members of the organization. The individual level, the intra-organizational level and the inter-organizational levels are the three levels of contrast for cross-cultural organization. (Rhein, 2013)
Post-bureaucratic leadership is ‘the process of controlling, motivating and inspiring staff’ (Clegg, Kornberger & Pitsis 2011, p. 126), whereas globalisation refers to ‘the increase in financial integration of economies around the world’ (Clegg, Kornberger & Pitsis 2011, p.612). As such the practice of leadership is an integral component in all aspects of an organization as it can determine the success or failure of a business. According to (Punnet 2004) ‘leadership is a key component of all organizations, but its ability and functions have become more difficult with the rise of globalisation during the post-bureaucratic era.’ This essay will examine how the various leadership approaches have contributed to managing globalisation and the effects
What is a leader? Who are chosen to be leader, and why are they chosen? What set these certain individuals aside from everyone else? A leader is someone who can encourage even those with feeble hearts, insecure souls and self-doubting minds. A leader takes not only their vision but everyone’s vision and create one beautiful creation that is seen throughout the world. My experiences with leadership range from the worst to the best. Once holding a great leadership position myself, I can testify the benefits of great leadership and the disadvantages of horrible leadership. Through my experience with great leadership and the effects on the people, it seemed to the naked eye that everyone was thinking the same thing at the same time. In actually it was the leader uniting the members together on one common chord to produce a sound that would remain in the souls. A leader is someone who not only leads, but also encourages people to do their best, share a collectively common idea or passion with a group, and challenge the process of a traditional style.

Leadership is being able to direct or guide other people by either your own actions or by actually guiding them into the right direction (Acumen). Inspiration to be a leader might come from many different areas like your family, friends, peers, or even teachers. My inspiration didn’t really occur to me until I started attending college in August 2013. In all actuality I never even thought of how to be a leader until I was in Mrs. Moore’s Perspectives class. I now have a desire to be a great leader, and the inspiration has come from Mrs. Moore, and my family. I am the first to attend college out of my family, so in a away I have already started leading my siblings in the right direction. Being a leader means inspiring others to pursue their dreams, and aspirations and helping throughout the journey to success. Being a leader has nothing with authority or being able to tell other what, and how to do things, it’s about having people who look up to you and want to follow your example.

Strategy implementation involves establishing programs and tactics to create a series of new organizational activities, budgets to allocate funds to the new activities, and procedures to handle the day-to-day details (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman, & Bamford, 2015). Essentially, after a company determines the direction of their program, it is the how that particular direction will be accomplished. It also answers the question of what resources must be moved or sold to meet the allocated budget. For example, Ford Motor Company set up a program with the sole purpose of discovering alternatives to the foam that was being used in the manufacturing of car seats (Ford Motor Company, n.d.). While this program has a great deal of potential, there are different aspects that would have to be measured and verified before it can be considered a successful course of action by the company.
Globalization has many implications for leadership today and in the future. Global perspectives are being spread to the farthest points in the world and to the most isolated people. People of different cultures come to the United States daily to live, travel, or engage in business. Leaders must respond to this challenge of globalization so they can effectively reach out to as many people as possible. Opening themselves to the world's changes allows leaders to compare and contrast their culture with the arts, language, beliefs, customs, philosophies, and ways of living of other people. By observing and questioning another culture, leaders can understand the origin of an individual's viewpoints and become more sensitive to the cultural needs of that individual. By continually exposing themselves to other cultures, young leaders can thoroughly develop this global perspective and devote themselves to making connections with the entire world.
The Bluest Eye - Pecola as a Victim of Evil By constructing the chain of events that answer the question of how Pecola Breedlove is cast as a pariah in her community, Toni Morrison in The Bluest Eye attempts to satisfy the more difficult question of why. Although, unspoken, this question obsessively hovers over Pecola throughout the novel and in her circular narrative style Morrison weaves a story that seeks to answer this question by gathering all of the forces that were instrumental in the creation of a social mishap. By using what seem like tangents in the story, we are shown examples of how forces beyond human control such as nature, an omniscient being and primarily a legacy of rejection have come together to establish the heritage of desolation that has been passed on to Pecola Breedlove. A pattern of precedence is pieced together in the story, showing the seeds of Pecola's present barrenness to have been planted in the lives of preceding generations. By profiling the lives of Soaphead Church and Pauline Breedlove, Morrison makes a case for the validity of generational curses.

It is through individual leadership philosophy that people get to self-reflection processes which people analyze their self and how they shape their associations with the world around them. In numerous cases, leaders add to their philosophy through reflection on life's most critical occasions. Making your leadership philosophy entails that you must investigate and reflect upon your own particular individual values, suspicions, and convictions about leadership. The creation of a leadership philosophy can be measured in the changes in beliefs and values that occur (Mayer, 2012).One must go back in time to pursue, think back, and catch the profitable pieces of life's rich encounters. The last result of this challenging process-an individual leadership philosophy and the direction it provides will fundamentally influence your association with those you lead.
