As an 8th grader, I can almost imagine the power of high school. Though, to reach my goals, I know I can’t give up at any point in High School. I need to work 24/7 in order to be prepared for my last 3 grade-years of school and high school. In the future, the oppurtunity to open a new high school, is not easy to find. Set aside, if I do, i plan to show respect, optimism, and teamwork. Showing respect is very important, even if something chaotic happens. When opening a high school I believe that I have to respect others because showing respect to someone is showing our silent feelings for them. Especially when students come in, if I show them respect and understand them, I know they’ll show some kind of respect. For example, as an 8th …show more content…
Optimish is to not give up even when you fail. At a high school such things as fighting, lying, and other big things can come up anytime, and I need to be prepared to know what to do and have patience. Even if it comes up a lot, I need to know that im not alwasy going to succeed. Not long time ago we had an optimism field trip, we went ice skating and i did not know how to ice skate, at first i helt onto the walls to not fall but i knew i had to let go. I fell but I got right back up and skated again. I might’ve not fully mastered ice skating skating skills, but I was proud that I never gave up. Just like the challenges i’m gonna face in high school, i might trip and fall, but im still gonna go slow and learn little by little with my …show more content…
As an 8th grader having these ideas, makes me feel more ready for the future and ready to face real world challenges. Previously, I stated how hard the power of high school of power is gonna be. Not everything is gonna be easy and not everything is gonna be hard either. To this, it’s like a dog bite. A voice inside my head is gonna say to do the wrong thing, but i’m not backing down or get overwhelmed by the voice inside my head. The most difficult part of for me is gonna be keeping my grades up, being organized with school and home schedule, and earning scholarships. Keeping up with my grades has always been a struggle for me ever since I got out of Kinder, so I predict that if I have struggled with grades, I believe I’ll struggle with High School grades. Though, here at Kipp I don’t struggle a lot. Having the best grades means studying, homework tests. I’m not good at studying first of all, because I feel like it’s boring, and not entertaining. For High School, I plan to be even more serious. To study seriously and finish homework to get the best grades in my tests, I think it’s best to call a teacgher or get help from family memners. I believe that if students haven’t taken middle school seriously, then it is time to step it up, into the real world and realize that it’s not gonna be the same in middle school,
As many people have told me before, it is a very different ballgame than middle school’s easy going years. There is much more work, the classes are harder, and the environment is completely different. Many people’s grades may slip and they may cower in fear at the barrage of assignments they receive class after class. Unlike other people, I am confident in my ability to excel at all classes and to sustain exemplary grades. Therefore, while many are trembling in fear at the prodigious assignments and work is bombarding them from all angles, I will be at ease, knowing that whatever obstacle is thrown my way, I will conquer it and be its own
Proper respect for others begins by a person respecting their self. Respect is developed by expressing honor, leadership, value, and trust in a person. If everyone respects everyone someday, the world will become a seventh heaven. It is important to be respectful for safety, to abide by the law, because children are influenced by their elders’ actions, and because God says so. Motivation from peers can help a person realize there is always room to improve the level of respect a person exhibits. Respect was, is, and always will be a positive attribute for everyone to strive for in their lives.
People say high school is supposed to be the golden years of your life. I don’t know what else in life is to come; however, my philosophy is to live in the moment and make the life you’re living in the present worthwhile into the future, not only for you but for those who surround you. I live my life participating in our community and getting involved in our school. The activities, and the people I’ve formed relationships with, are what have formed me into the person I am today. The person I am today is not perfect, but I have learned from the mistakes I’ve made.
I didn’t know what to expect of high school as I sauntered in the doors as an incoming high school freshman. In my first couple of weeks of school, I learned that it was basically like middle school, just a little stricter with different teachers and a different locker. I asked myself “how bad could it be?” Turns out,
In order to succeed in high school, you must set a realistic goal. To achieve this goal, the first thing you need is a positive attitude and the willingness to work hard, but that is not all. It is very important to have a plan and the right attitude to reach that goal but those things mean nothing if it’s not being put in to action. You can start by using materials such as an alarm clock to be on time. When you get t...
In conclusion respect is wrapped around our day to day lives. A famous philosopher once said “Respect is showing acknowledgement for some ones superiority in a certain field.” You can’t buy, demand, or force people to respect you but you can respect others in order for them to respect you. What people do not understand is that if we use common sense we would be respecting ourselves, respecting others, and respecting property all the time. Respecting yourself, others, and property might not be easy to do but it does have great rewards if you just do it.
Respect Overview: Help your students’ identify what their strengths and areas of growth are, then help them set goals to turn their weaknesses into strengths. Help them to be assertive by sharing their opinions and beliefs. Understanding other peoples feeling will help them to develop relationships and learn the skills to develop lifelong relationships. Gratitude, kindness, and engaged listening are three key principles of respect. Developing those principles will help your student achieve a high level of grit because they will become more open minded.
After these three amazing years I feel overjoyed and privileged to have attended such a wonderful institution of education that is Asma high school. It inspired me and motivated me to be the very best version of me, as many other students. Upon leaving this school, I feel empowered and at ease with the notion that I have gained the knowledge to help me with all my future endeavors. Our whole educational life is a challenge , finishing high school doesn’t mean the end of these challenges , because no matter where we go , or what we do , there are always challenges ahead of us, but what we all need to do is to meet these challenges straight on with our head held up high and our hearts wide open ready for these challenges, I remember three years ago I got home with my report card and my marks had dropped miserably I cried a lot so my father asked me “why are you crying” I was taken back a bit by his question I think he noticed that and continued ‘ you know life is like a long road even though you can’t see the end of it you keep on walking just like all the roads you’ll trip and fall down whether it was a rock , a wood , or
“I speak to everyone in the same way, whether he is the garbage man or the president of the university” (Einstein). Respect, a basic value, maintains moral behavior when people abide to it by demonstrating the proper way to act. Treating people with equal treatment regardless of their age, class, race, and background is the key to success. Envisage a world without respect or anything to do with respect. Without respect, people will discontinue the act of enduring each other entirely and will become utterly selfish in their ideas and deeds.
There are different kinds of respect. There is the definition I was taught at school. The first day of 4th grade, the teacher would call on students to add to the class definition of “respect” on the whiteboard. It is treating others the way you want to be treated. It is being nice when others aren’t. It is sharing your pencil sharpener with your partner.
It is my belief that respect of other people is highly important. I do honestly respect not only my peers, but my elders, specifically my teachers. I consider education a blessing, and am thankful to teachers for bestowing that blessing upon me. The numerous hours of work they put into teaching deserves credit and respect from each and every student they teach. I currently have a part-time job at Funfinity, and am taking intensive classes that require a decent amount of homework.
Showing respect for someone or something is a good thing in common society. If you show respect to someone, and they show respect to you, then you are more likely to have a strong relationship, or more so with other people. Showing respect will help people think about the ways you acted more.
Respect is a major factor in the success of any society. In order to become well-functioning, a society must be highly respectful, one in which
The second form of respect is the respect of property. This includes anything from writing on a desk at school to stealing from a department store. Property, whether it is the school's, a company's, a stranger's, or a friends, should always be respected. Respect means taking that extra few seconds to drive the speed limit so as not to hit anyone or anything. It means not smashing a pumpkin at Halloween just for fun. It means not throwing that piece of trash on the ground. That is respect.
School, in essence, functions as a ladder to the future. The farther up the ladder a person goes, the more prepared for real life he will find himself. Respect is one of the keys to getting up the ladder and succeeding in many aspects of life. I grew up respecting my elders: whether it was my grandparents or the librarian, I have always had respect. The regard I have developed for teachers has come from knowing that I will need their help to make it through school and I can only get it by being respectful and polite.
