George Lucas was a successful person because he made Star Wars which is really popular. He was born on May 14th,1944. He was born in Modesto, California. His parents are George Walton Lucas and Dorothy Ellinore Bomberger Lucas. He went to Modesto Junior College. During high school he got in a big car crash. Bruce Baillie inspired George to become a director. He originally wanted to be a nascar driver but after the crash he wanted to be a director. He went to Modesto Junior College to get a filmmaker degree. He learned not to be a nascar driver. He had to overcome college.
