Your inheritance “Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.” Galatians 4:7 NLT There is a particular website that can tell you if you have any money anywhere that you don’t know about. This site claims that there are literally hundreds of millions of dollars sitting unused in trust funds or accounts that people don’t know about. A lot of believers operate this way. They have this incredible inheritance that belongs to them, yet this incredible authority that has been given to them, and they are unaware of it. Here, Paul expands on what it means to be an heir. That we will are guardians and trustees of a great inheritance set by our Father. Galatians 3:18 tell us that this inheritance
Coates starts his article with a verse from the book of Deuteronomy. The verse states that if you brought a slave that is to serve six years, you must let him go. Not only must you free the slave, you must also furnish him and provided him with means
The ideas of the gospel of wealth are a scary concept today. If you look at it with a revisionist viewpoint the idea that rich are rich because God said so leaves us open for so much discrimination. The thoughts of this time were not able to see this, and the business owners wanted to keep the power in their hands.
was a better life awaiting them. "The Spirit of the Lord allowed black slaves to

The groom would wear a black and white tuxedo with either a bow or a tie.
In Shakespeare’s day (Elizabethan England) weddings were always a religious and solemn ceremony, conducted by a minister in the parish or local churches. The bride moved from the family's house to the church. This was a particularly festive event and the procession was accompanied by musicians. It was noisy, laughter and bawdy jokes. If the groom was not part of the procession, he met the bride either at the side door of the church or at the altar. They all enter the church at once and stand through the ritual.
...o confront the social acceptance of the institution of slavery, or even threaten the order of society. What this does suggest is that Paul wanted to convey the theological principle of unity to the Church by imploring them to perceive all believers as equals in spite of social classifications. When the wide variety of job descriptions, economical standings, education, and geographical placement of Christians today is considered, it is advantageous to heed to Paul’s example of appreciating individual believers as fellow workers in Christ.
Marriages in Biblical Tradition typically represent a symbolic expression of the covenantal union between God and his people. A wedding banquet during this time period in history was a joyous occasion that had a great importance in the lives of the betrothed. “The Gospel of Matthew, like all the New Testament Gospels, was composed as a literary work to interpret the theological meaning of a concrete historical event to the people in a particular historical situation” (Boring 89). Mt 22:1-14 utilizes this tradition and expresses wedding celebrations in order to exemplify the significance of Jesus’s goal to bring salvation to those on Earth.

Jan van Eyck has been one of the more prominent early Netherlandish painters during his time. He has had many famous works, however one of his more interesting and questionable pieces is The Arnolfini Portrait. There is much to be desired in this painting by the great van Eyck. Van Eyck has been a master painter most of his career, but in this painting he is able to show how his excellent painting skills can bring this painting to life. The Arnolfini Portrait, which measures 82 × 59.5 cm (32.3 × 23.4 in) is an oil painting on oak panel dated 1434. This painting is also known by other as The Arnolfini Wedding, The Arnolfini Marriage, The Arnolfini Double Portriat, or Giovanni Arnolfini and his Wife. The apostle Paul wrote the epistle to the Galatians around 49 A.D. it is the ninth book in New Testament.Paul writes to the Galatian church they have quickly abandoned the gospel of freedom to return to the yoke of the Law .Paul once known for persacuting the church tries feverntly to reach the Galatia churches to remind them of the grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The introduction in Galations is different from Pauls other writings he goes right into the issue at hand. In Galatians Paul speaks about faith and being free from the law he reminds them of Abrahams two sons one born as a slave and born because of the Promise of God.The theme of the letter to the Galatians is to show them that
FROM THE PASTORS DESK: Good morning everyone, so good to be saved and loving the Lord. Gosh I mess up so much sometimes, I wonder if the Lord even loves me. Then I smak the devil with the word. The spirit of the Lord gives me the hope I need to make it through my day.
Paul appeals for generosity because Christ, "through rich, became poor." He pleads that converts live as sons because "God sent forth his son"; argues for self effacement from the fact that Christ, being in the form of God, "emptied himself"; contends, against the Gnostics' pleroma filling the gulf between God and creation, that "all things were created in, through, and for Christ. . . who is before all things." As "Lord from heaven" Christ provides the pattern of our resurrected humanity; as he first descended, so he has ascended, the measure of his triumph and assurance of ours (2 Cor. 8:9; Gal. 4:4; Phil. 2:5 - 6; Col. 1:15 - 16; Eph. 4:8 - 9). For such practical, pastoral exhortations one does not argue from fringe speculations, but only from familiar, accepted, foundation truths.
