Activities are very communal methods of fundraising and can be valued chances for raising your charities in the local community. Fundraising events do not provide most organizations’ main sources of revenue. What were your goals for this project? Our goals for this project is to raise at least $100 for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but also to earn a good grade. We decide to choose St. Jude because Manuela personally has a one year old boy and she had commented that she saw a television commercial were a young boy was suffering from this horrible disease, but unfortunately lost his battle against cancer. The fact that nonprofits are built solely on helping the people throughout your community and neighboring communities make nonprofits important based on that fact in itself. Nonprofit provide places to sleep when maybe a family has nowhere to go or somewhere to have a hot meal. This could be someone in your family, a close friend or even a distant neighbor but in all people are people and help is help so the reasons for nonprofit being important are ongoing.
I want everyone to feel like they belong, especially the homeless, they should be able to experience love and affection, just like everyone does. I would like to deliver food and blankets, from donations, for the homeless and the same time run a local food pantry to help them and anyone in need of assistance. We need to make the world a better place, in order for that to happen, we have to organize a cleanup within our city, start a recycling program and also let everyone know that we can all contribute by helping out.
