Preparing a Smashing Pumpkin Pudding
It's that time of year again, pumpkin season! Two wonderful family holidays are just around the corner. Traditionally, we spend Thanksgiving or Christmas (or both) with the family to have a nice holiday dinner. There is always delicious food prepared for dinner, but what's dinner without dessert? The most traditional holiday dessert is pumpkin pie, but how about "spicing" that dessert up a little this year? Well, here's the way to do it, a delicious holiday dessert that the whole family will love and it's quick and easy!
The first step in baking, of course, is to gather all the ingredients necessary for the job. Luckily with this dessert, most of what you need, you'll already find in your kitchen. Whatever you don't have, you can just pick up at your local grocery store: 1 can pumpkin, 3 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. ginger, 1/2 tsp. cloves, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 box spiced cake mix, 1 1/2 cubes margarine or butter, and 3/4 cup favorite chopped nuts (if desired) and a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. You may also need a measuring cup and measuring teaspoons if you want to measure the ingredients evenly. Also, you'll need a small bowl, to beat the three eggs and melt the butter in, and a large bowl to mix the ingredients together.
Now that you have all your ingredients, you can get started on the fun, but first, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Before you mix all the ingredients, beat the three eggs together in the small bowl until they are well mixed. Now mix together the can of pumpkin, the three beaten eggs, the milk, salt, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and sugar in the large bowl. You can use anything to mix it all with, a rubber spatula, a wooden spoon, or if you have neither of those, a large spoon will do the trick. Be sure to mix everything so that it's mixed evenly.
There's no need to grease the pan first. Just pour the mixed ingredients into the baking pan. Pour it all so that it covers the pan evenly. Don't just pour it all in one spot. If you couldn't get it even while pouring, smooth out the top of the pudding with your mixing tool.
Rinse the bowl in which you beat the eggs; or if you'd rather, just grab a new bowl.
The baker will start by melting the one stick of butter in the oven safe dish. Take the paper off of the stick butter and place the stick of butter in the oven safe dish, then place the oven safe dish in the preheated oven until butter is melted, after the butter is melted put on oven mitts and remove the oven safe dish from the oven. Now get your measuring cup, measure out one cup of flour, pour the cup of flour in the mixing bowl. Then measure out one cup of milk and pour it in the mixing bowl, next measure out one cup of sugar and pour in mixing bowl. Next get the spoon and mix the ingredients thoroughly until mixed completely. Now pour the mix into oven safe dish on top of the melted butter, and lastly open the large can of peaches with can opener, dump all of the peaches on top of mix in oven safe dish.
In the sauce pan melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and keep stirring until they have all melted. Keep stirring and cooking for an extra minute. Remove from the heat and stir in the food coloring. Add the cereal and candy corn until they are covered completely. Place them in the pan, cover with wax paper and press out the mixture to be even in the pan. Allow to set up completely and then cut and share.
...ease the speed to medium. Slowly add the remaining sugar to the egg whites and continue to mix.

Cel Animation – Cel animation can be said to be a method of using sheets of paper to draw cartoon frames. These sheets of paper are transparent so that you are able to lay them over one another and then be photographed. It is a very complicated and long process.
Approximately twenty years later, Edison made his first moving picture machine. Though he had hoped to combine the phonograph with the kinetoscope in order to produce a talking and moving film, he failed to do so, and simply left it as it was. Edison felt as though there was no future for this device, so he allowed others to copy the idea and make their own versions of it (Barnham). From there, it advanced until it became what’s considered a modern movie
If any one has ever watched some of the really old animation such as Steamboat Willy done by Walt Disney Studios in the late 1920’s or some of the animations showing up on the Internet nowadays. They know that animation has come a long way and is still improving.
We as individuals and especially as a country, encompass this idea of freedom into our lives. America is known as the land of the free. New Hampshire’s state motto is “Live Free or Die”. America’s documents like the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, have been called the “Charters of Freedom” (http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/). These charters give U.S. citizens the freedom of press, speech, protest, gun ownership, privacy, and many more freedoms that we use every day. The list of freedom examples within this country goes on and on. As obsessed as we are with this idea of freedom, few have looked into what freedom actually is. And even fewer realize that our behavior, individually or nationally, exemplifies that we are not free.
Freedom is what defines an individual, it bestows upon someone the power to act, speak, or think without externally imposed restraints. Therefore, enslavement may be defined as anything that impedes one’s ability to express their freedoms. However, complete uncompromised freedom is virtually impossible to achieve within a society due to the contrasting views of people. Within Mark Twain’s 1885 novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, numerous controversies are prevalent throughout the novel, primarily over the issue of racism and the general topic of enslavement. The characters in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn along with their development take an unmistakable, resilient stand against racism and by doing such in direct relation against the naturalized views of society. Twain’s characters, Jim and Huck are at the focal point of this controversy; they together are enslaved in two particularly different forms, nevertheless they both pursue their freedoms from their enslavements. The development of these characters and the growth of their interdependent relationship generate the structure of the anti-racism message within this novel. Twain’s introductory warning cautions the dangers of finding motives, morals, or plots in his novel, ironically proving the existence of each and encourages the reader to discover them. One of the undisputable major themes that extensively peculated my mind as I read the text regarded the subject of freedom and enslavement. Through Twain’s constant contrasting of freedom and enslavement such as its portrayal of slavery in the form of life on land compared to the freedom on the raft on the Mississippi Twain’s novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, suggests that people are subject to various ensl...

Freedom is a human value that has inspired many poets, politicians, spiritual leaders, and philosophers for centuries. Poets have rhapsodized about freedom for centuries. Politicians present the utopian view that a perfect society would be one where we all live in freedom, and spiritual leaders teach that life is a spiritual journey leading the soul to unite with God, thus achieving ultimate freedom and happiness. In addition, we have the philosophers who perceive freedom as an inseparable part of our nature, and spend their lives questioning the concept of freedom and attempting to understand it (Transformative Dialogue, n.d.).
