It is very helpful especially in analyzing a drama or film; you will be able to know the perspective of the Filipino in making films. It involves the tradition and culture that we had inherited from different race. Moreover, it represents not just only the creativity but also our opinions, feelings, beliefs, and ideology. It is in the part that Arnel (Raymond Lauchengo) introduced his girlfriend to his parents and I noticed that the reaction of his parents is not good, especially her mother (Rosemarie Gil) she does not want the girl for her son. Arnel came from a rich family while her girlfriend came from a poor family. One of the reasons why Arnel’s mother does not want the girl for her son is that, her girlfriend came from a low-class family and as expected her skin not white. The characters in the story, especially the boys were easily attracted to white girls, if not, it catches their attention. I am very happy to watch. As it continues, I noticed the sudden change of moods of the film, I mean, for example after a funny moment it was followed by a sad, romance, and serious moment. In the funny moment, I saw how the director of the film uses farce as a form of comedy. For example, there were many instances in which I saw Gilbert (Herbert Bautista) was being bullied, beaten, mocked, and laughed and many other things done by his friend to him. Sometimes, I saw him riding a bicycle and suddenly hit a trash can. And also when he was hit by a ball after he was circumcise. Second, I also noticed the funny reactions or behaviour of the characters, one of the examples is Tonton (Martin Martinez), his reaction was very extremely funny when he was answered by Rosa (Yayo Aguila). He seems like a dancing duck. In sad moments, I have noticed the challenges that came in the lives of the characters. Toton (Martin Martinez) cry when his girlfriend Rose (Yayo Aguela) died due to car accident. Gilbert (Herbert Bautista) also became sad when his parents got separated but eventually settled down. Topee (JC Bonin) became sad when his mother (Liza Lorena) does not attend his needs.
