Project – Transform the Quote to Cash process by unifying Marketing, Sales, Pricing Desk, Quoting, Invoicing, Inventory, A/R, and A/P. Forcepoint was formed through various M&A activity and as such became a company of separate systems and processes.

The tool essentially shows the chain of activities required to develop and deliver the products. The effectiveness of the organization vastly improves when all the key activities such as customer, vendor, suppliers and partner within the value chain working smoothly. The value chain used to reduce operational and production cost using low-cost producer strategy. If two service or products are delivery by two separate divisions for two different markets, there are functionality and process that can be integrated to save cost.
Lockheed Martin is an organization that heavily relies on its defense contracts in order to generate revenue. In 2005, 95% of Lockheed Martin’s revenue came from the US Department of Defense, other US Federal government agencies and foreign military customers (Defense News, 2007). Lockheed Martin earns this revenue by winning government contracts. As previously noted, Lockheed Martin has a large customer base with the US Department of Defense. The company is the largest provider of IT services, systems integration, and training to the government (Lockheed Martin, 2008). Other customers that provide revenue for Lockheed Martin are international governments and some commercial sales of products and services (Lockheed Martin, 2008).

The main problem that Excel is confronted with is should the company try to expand into supply chain planning. The main question on the table is does Excel have the ability to complete the entire task in a supply chain from planning to execution? Create a new program to extract Purchase Order data from Oracle system and create a single Flat File for each Purchase Order extracted containing the Purchase Order data. The file(s) should be created at Produce Pro server. The new extraction program should consider the following criteria: Organization equal 22 (DMCO) or 23 (DMNA), Purchase Order status is approved; Ship to location, and extracted status should be equal to “N”. Each file will be validated for all PO required fields in PPRO. A final document import program in PPRO will process the file(s) to create new PO in PPRO.
