I am writing this letter in regards to my financial aid suspension due to unsatisfactory academic progress and to having taken more than 90 credit hours. I am hoping that you will reconsider this decision in light of extenuating circumstances which interfered with my ability to be a successful college student.

When the exam comes, I performed badly with answers I should’ve gotten but forgot many of the materials I studied the day before the exam. I did not know much about the exam format in college and that makes it hard for me to study and the lack of knowledge about the subject got me worried a lot. Due to these circumstances listed above, I have been put on financial aid suspension. Without financial aid, I will be unable to continue my education because I need the funds to pay for my supplies, books, fees and personal expenses. Also, that would put me more back in my education and I don’t want that to happen. I want to be successful in life and make something better for myself. I know how it feels to struggle financially because I’ve been in that situation all my life. Academic is my first priority
