My desire to study Film at university is generated not only from my unconditional love for motion pictures, but also my interest in behind the scenes footage of films which I find so intriguing. The perception of film allows individuals to stretch their imagination and produce surreal worlds that would otherwise never exist and this is expressed in such a universal way. Film does not only depend on the crucial roles such as the director, producer and screenwriter, the audience itself plays a vital part within the film industry and channels the source of success for motion pictures in modern cinema. The camera's amazing ability to capture experiences that otherwise is only seen through the human eye, has always given me a burning desire to study film practically, critically and theoretically. My A level subjects include English combined, Religious Studies and Music, all which I find very inspirational. I am particularly affectionate towards English, as I thoroughly enjoy reading both core texts and my own wider reading.
