Did you know that the real cost to make a fidget spinner is only $2 when some store owners are charging $20? Companies are turning this little toy into large profit by charging to much. When really all the toy does is spin. Children in school should not have fidget spinners because they are a waste of time and money, they are distracting, and some kids in school focus their attention on a toy rather than the task at hand.
Fidget spinners are distracting and are banned from a lot of classrooms because kids are misusing them. Teachers say that students will take it too far and throw it around the room. This toy does more harm than good when it's supposed to help certain kids. The toy’s main use was supposed to help children with ADHD and autism to focus. However it’s been doing the exact opposite, distracting kids from their work. At some schools they have been banned when some kids actually need them and use them purposefully. Like if a child has a condition where he or she needs a fidget spinner to focus.
A third reason for banning them is because they are a waste of time and money. To understand the value of a fidget spinner we must know what it's composed of, which is a ball bearing and plastic. A person who thinks fidget spinners are useful could argue that the toy is fun to play with, it helps hand and eye coordination, and it helps certain kids focus. These companies don 't care about the side effects their product may have, as long as the parents are convinced, go out and buy it, them companies are good. When it comes to infant toys it is tricky to tell if a baby is going to like it or not. Every infant is different when it comes to learning. There is one particular company called SmartNoggin that claims to help parents and caregivers encourage early milestones in their infant’s development beginning at birth while using their product "NogginStik".

When kids are getting their necessary period of interrupted play it has great benefits in the classroom helping their cognitive skills to grow. As children get to play at regular intervals through out the day, they children are able to diminish stress and other types of distractions so when they sit down they are more attentive and productive.

The constant buzzing sound from the spinners can make it hard to focus especially when there are many in the room. Some fidget spinners also have lights which are quite distracting. They also can be distracting just when kids are watching them spin. Many kids might sit and watch their spinner instead of their teacher during class.
For instance, if a school makes $20,000 a year out of these vending machines, they have to spend 25,000 to hire janitors and custodians for the extra load of work. Also, the school administrators are encouraging these vending machines just to earn the profit for the schools, but the real question is are they really earning profit? I can understand that schools often need extra budget to manage their expenses, but they can do other things like organizing concerts, plays etc to earn the money, rather than relying on these vending machines. I also believe that parents are equally responsible for their child’s poor nutrition and health, because they give money to their children for buying the junk food. Buzzzzzzzzzz! Another cellphone is going off in the middle of class, causing her to blush and discreetly check her new text message. A virtual conversation is buzzing back and forth inside one classroom and into the classroom across the hall, having a discussion about the party that night or the lipstick color chosen at the mall. In another classroom, a student posts the answers to the English exams on her profile page, allowing all of her buddies to read and use for their time of the exam. There are multiple examples of students using their cell phones during class time to communicate their thoughts, images of their environment or dangerous crimes. In addition, the percentage of students with cellphones now soars to about 80% (Ban). This highly increases the chance for students to have a cell phones on them during school. Cell phones can also be harmful to students during class, taking them into another world of technology, separated from the classroom, and turning them down a road of decisions they never intended on doing. Overall, cell phones alter classroom learning in a negative way, and should be banned from use in the classroom at all schools.
