Fate Draws Lovers Apart

In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, two people are searching for their true love and cannot find the right person. They are currently paired with someone that isn’t their perfect match and both long for the right person to come and find them. Fate draws these star-crossed lovers to each other and later draws them into trouble with family and friends. The two show true love at first sight as shown in the following quote, “O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night, like a rich jewel in an Ethiop’s ear.” (1. 5. 49-51).
Throughout this story, there are many ways fate changes the outcome of this story. Fate is how a story or life, for example turns out the way it does. Fate is the growth and joining of events in a story or in life that are not controllable by the person. Fate is the biggest driving force in this story because the characters do some crazy actions that they later regret or wish they would have done differently. The story revolves around fate because no one can control their life and the things that happen, all happen for a reason.
Romeo and Juliet are two lovers that are both searching for their perfect match when they arrive at the Capulet Ball. The Capulets are Juliet’s family and Romeo’s family is the Montague's. Both families have had a large, hateful relationship and have tried to steer away from each other because if one even looks the wrong way at the other they would start a huge fight. Romeo never wanted to go to the ball because he was sad that his love, Rosaline, wouldn’t return his love. His friend, Mercutio, was very stubborn and knew that Romeo would have a good time so he wouldn’t leave Romeo to be by himself.

...s out and tells Romeo to his face. “Love moderately” (2. 5. 9) are the two words of advice he gives him and ends there because he knows that those two words are very powerful. He could tell that there was going to be something bad happening. Fate was huge here because he saw what they were thinking and needed to stop them, but their decisions were the death of them in the end.
Two lovers were once happily married until fate struck. Fate can be good or bad and in this story, it turned out to be bad. It started off with two finding each other and teens being teens couldn’t control their love and it in turn controlled them. Fate drew these star-crossed lovers to each other and later drew them into trouble with their family and friends. No matter what, they would be happy and wouldn’t regret any of their decisions because of their immense love for each other.
