Family Lifestyle: ( add more points)
• The most common family form would be nuclear family and extended families because Mexicans have a strong family connection
• Since, Mexican families have such strong connections any celebration brings them closers together as one. For example; Weddings
• Mothers in Mexican families are the ones who tie the whole family together. They are responsible for cooking, cleaning and caring for children.
• The Father is the main authority figure in the family (they took care of financial needs). Also, they control and make family decisions.

• The brother in the family is responsible for defending their sister both verbally and physically.

Monday to Friday Mexican children and teens attend their compulsory courses and on Saturday they have their electives.
• School life in Mexico starts at an early age, children typically start school at the age of 3 or 4.
• The education in public school to grade 9 is free but after one must pay for themselves.
• In Mexico all of the classes are conducted in Spanish however large city families can chooses to send their children to English speaking private school.

• The main subjects learned is Spanish , math , art and gym and the rest of the courses are called environmental knowledge. For ex. English, history and natural science go into this category. ( is this important )

• The minimum work age is 15 years.

• During the incorporation stage the young girl receives a higher status and is accepted by her community , friends and family
• If the girl is Catholic the ceremony begins with a thanksgiving mass. The Thanksgiving mass is to give thanks to the girls’ completed childhood.
• Then the teen is seated at the altar and her godparents gift the girl with jewelry to match her dress. With the girl, there are her maid of honors and escorts who are usually siblings or relatives. The maid or honors and escorts are categorized by age to represent all the years that the teen has completed. The young woman leaves a bouquet of flowers in front of the Virgin of Guadalupe as the mass is completed. As, she leaves the bouquet of flowers, her siblings and friends give out gifts to the guest.( make it shorter)
• The first step of becoming a woman is to start with church service. The godparents gift the young lady with rosary beads that are previously blessed by the church priest.
• The young girl is offered a tiara that is placed on her head, symbolizing that the girl is the daughter of God. This ritual blesses the girl as she is entering
