Family Rules In our family you must wash your hands after using the restroom and prior to handling any food or setting the table. We attend church as a family on Sunday mornings. Kids are to be in bed by 8:30 pm on school nights. Put the toilet seat down when you are done using the toilet and always flush. My mom said as a kid they had to change out of their school clothes as soon as they got home and then do their chores as a kid. My kids know they need to let me know where they are going and who they will be with. My mom always expected that when I was younger as well. This is so far from the truth I love touch and I assured that I corrected her, and explained that I was busy and would love his touch when I was finished so I did not lose focus. My mom is always telling my kid’s stuff that is not true and I do not feel this is appropriate to share with children as it causes tension among family. I loved hearing about my family and learning new things that I was not aware of while completing this assignment. It also helped me bond more with both my mom and dad during the process. I was able to talk to them and learn more details about my family. I was never aware that my grandma worked outside the home, because she did not when I was a kid.
