My favorite season is fall. I like fall because its not to hot and its not to cold. I would love for all year long to be fall. I also like fall because of the haunted houses and the scary Halloween movies. I also like the cookies and carving pumpkins, going trick or treating. These are my favorite things to do in fall. There is so much to do in the fall and its so nice to go do it because its just warm.
First, I like the fall because of the warm temperatures. The warmness of fall is just amazing. I love being able to go outside and not have to deal with sweating to death or freezing my behind off. The warm temperatures bring a lot of joy. You can play in the leafs, you can sit and watch all the scary Halloween movies, and go to the haunted houses. If there was a choice for me to make I would say we should have fall all year round. The haunted houses are one of my favorite things to do in the fall. I love going and being able to ride the haunted hay ride and going through all the haunted houses and the haunted maize. The scary movies are awesome to you can just sit around with your family and loved one and just scream if you get scared then laugh at

I absolutely love everything that goes on in fall. You get to go to things like October Fest. The cookies are another one of my favorite things about fall. The Halloween cookies are the best, I love the smell of baking cookies in the fall. Carving pumpkins is something that I have always done since I was young, its a tradition. Carving pumpkins may be gross and gooey but its so fun to carve pumpkins with your family making funny faces and things on them. Trick or treating is fun as well, you get to walk around the neighborhood with your friends and have your costumes on. I love walking around getting all the candy and enjoying myself with my friends. This year I get to enjoy trick or treating with my boyfriend and
During the spring time the weather was rainy but warm. The summer time was hot and dry with the occasional rain. Fall was a time of cool and dry weather. With maybe some rain or snow.
The third reason I love West Virginia is because we are blessed with a variety of seasons. These beautiful seasons include; spring, summer, fall, and winter. In the spring I love to watch nature as life renews itself all around me. In the summer I love the warm weather as I take a dip in the calm lake. During the fall I love to watch the leaves change colors as I walk through the woods.
I've always liked Fall. I like the falling leaves and warm spice drinks and chilly air and nice sweaters and the generally spooky vibes. Fall is a good time for me. Nothing beats it, not even the summer. The most important part, though, is Halloween. Halloween cotumes, loads of spooky-themed candy, costume parties, scary movies, everthing about it was something I looked forward to all year.
Amphitrite is the goddess and queen of the sea. Many people believed she was the daughter of Either Nereus and Doris She was one of 100 other children they had together, they were known as the Nereids (the daughters of Nereus) . She was married to the god of the sea Poseidon. He first saw her dancing on the island of Naxos, and he instantly fell in love. When he sued for her hand in marriage she ran to Atlas to keep herself pure to her true love Delphin, the god of the dolphins. Her true love surely found her and told her to marry Poseidon, for bringing her back,Poseidon sent Delphin to be among the stars and gave him a space in heavan. They lived in a golden palace under the sea near Aegea, Happier then ever. (Atsma)
So for whatever someone may watch a horror film, experiencing horror within safe confines is an important part of every culture. Horror films help us understand what really terrifies us and make bold statements about the world we live in. Because horror films are not real, we can enjoy them. In all reality, the chances of seeing a murderous clown waving at you or a large man with a chainsaw and “leather” face is most likely, slim to none. Horror movies are something we all can enjoy and all watch because simply we all get different feelings and emotions out of them that we never really get in everyday life. Viewers just love to experience the unusual thrill ride of Horror.
I always think I have a favorite season, but as soon as we get into it, I start thinking about the next one. Obviously, I love Christmas especially with the kids and the over-the-top decorating. I love spring when everything is in full bloom and you're outside in that fresh air and you get to start doing these wonderful outdoor projects. But then summer, you have those lazy days at the beach. We have this ranch up in the country where we just love to spend time together. And those hot days when you're eating outside under the stars and it's still warm. But then Fall. The leaves start changing. The crispness in the air. The going to get the pumpkins. I don't see how people live in LA because they have no seasons. I fully wallow in all four
...We still go and watch the horror films though, we do it so that when we walk out we can say I overcame that so I can overcome anything. One of my fellow classmates Kayla Hillegass, said “I like to watch scary movies as a challenge to see what will scare me and what will not scare me”. Teens love and need this thrill and this sense of pride they get when watching a horror film and that is why they keep pilling in to the newest horror film to be released.
Fall is sudden, unpredicted, unintentional occurrence resulting in-patient landing on ground or at lower level. Falls and fall related injuries incur cost for the patient as well as the health cares system. The fall has a significant impact in patient quality of life and usually fall has many reasons to happen. Thus, preventing falls among patients in healthcare settings requires a complex approach, and recognition, evaluation and prevention of patient falls are significant challenges. Falls are a common cause of injury and the leading cause of nonfatal injuries and trauma-related hospitalizations in the United States (Barton, 2009). Falls occur in all types of healthcare institutions and to all patient populations. Up to 12% of hospitalized patients fall at least once during their hospital stay (Kalisch, Tschannen, & Lee, 2012). It has been using different strategies in many hospitals to prevent or at least to decrease the incidence of fall. However, the number of falls in the hospitals increases at alarming rate in the nation. The hospitals try to implement more efficient intervention strategies, but the number fall increase instead of decrease. In fact, many interventions to prevent falls and fall-related injuries require organized support and effective implementation for specific at risk and vulnerable subpopulations, such as the frail elderly and those at risk for injury.
There are four different types of seasons. They are Summer, Spring, Fall, and Winter. They each hold its own period in which they occur. Some days are long and some days are short depending on the season. Different weather, daylight hours, holidays, and different events are all events in which occur throughout the season. The events that can occur also depends on what’s the season. In each season, there are different activities that can be accomplished. For example, some seasons contain certain holidays that occur in them like Christmas, which only happens in the winter. There are a numerous amount of great activities to do during each season, but one specific season tops all of them. Out of all of the seasons, winter is the best season.
My hands were clenched tightly around the armrest of my couch, ten minutes in to my first horror movie. I was in middle school as a 7th grader, brand new to the world of sleepovers, late nights, and scary movies. My best friend invited me over for a sleepover on a Friday night to pig out on candy, and watch a movie that would surely leave us with nightmares for a long time. I did not show it and neither did my friend, but I was apprehensive whether or not this was a good idea. I could hear my mom in the back of my head at the time saying, “scary movies are for adults, and you will regret it if you watch one.” We both acted like the movie we were about to watch, wasn’t a bigger deal than it actually was; I was terrified yet excited about the
If I had to choose my favorite season it would be a very difficult choice. All four seasons are unique in their own special way, such as the climate, scenery, and activities. Although I enjoy the warmer months of summer, I also enjoy the cooler months of winter. In a sense, I have narrowed my favorite seasons down to two; summer and winter.
Each season has specific flavors that embody that time of year. Ripe, juicy berries and watermelon remind us of hot summer days. Peppermint is reminiscent of the cold, brisk winter air, and gingerbread brings us memories of warm evenings spent with family and friends. Pastel-colored candies and deviled eggs take us back to Easter celebrations in the midst of spring. And when fall arrives, there is one flavor that always comes to mind: pumpkin.
There are countless hiking trails for different fitness levels. You can do a strenuous hike up various mountains, or a leisurely stroll on the bike path next to the narrows. During the summer fishing is in full swing. Camping, swimming, boating, kayaking, and tubing are among the more popular things to do. People love to have bon fires and go up the river to party. One of the more intriguing activities to take part in would be muskeg jumping. A group of people go out in the muskeg, find a hole that’s not very deep (if you go in over your head, you can drown) and take turns jumping in and pulling each other out. In the winter time, the cold temperatures don’t stop from people from getting out. When it snows you can enjoy snow machining, sledding, 4-wheeling, and ice skating. Snowball fights are a must and there is a tournament every year. Children love to build snowmen and snow forts. Even the rain doesn’t keep people inside. They just throw on some raingear to go to the park and play or even puddle jump, to see who can make the biggest splash. People are able to get outside and do all of these things because it is a safe place to
Haunted houses and horror movies can permanently scar children as they have trouble realizing that everything is fake and a work of movie magic. This bad memory can stay with one throughout their lives, explaining why some do not enjoy horrifying experiences (Begley, 2011). In addition to being able to cause scarring memories, horror movies can also cause lasting ones. When placed in a particularly happy or distressing situation with another human, it can result in a strong bond (Begley, 2011). Enjoying a horror movie can be one of these moments.
My favorite season of the year is summer because of the warm weather, the school vacation, and the endless fun. I really enjoy the warm weather because it’s the perfect atmosphere to do outdoor activities. My favorite part about summer has to be the fact that school is closed for two months. During summer, you’re free to do whatever you want, not worrying about curfew or waking up early for school. Summer time is a great time to relax with friends and family by soaking up the sun at a beach or simply having dinner together.
