Out of Highschool & Fake Classes Education is a key ingredient to being successful in the modern generation. Why is this? Fact being without an education, individuals are not able to acquire and maintain steady salaries. However, professional sports being one of the few exceptions. Athletes are becoming some of the highest paid workers in the world. However, this has many downfalls within colleges and even becoming problematic to athletes attending college. However, addressing the educational aspect college athletes are often on scholarships to big division one universities. When being a big-time division one athlete you are expected to be professional by your 3rd year of college. When addressing these issues, it is a problem that cannot be looked over, it is damaging athletics as well as academics. However, there can be 5 possible adjustments to help “fix” this problem. Growing up watching athletics I have always been very knowledgeable over occurring problems one of the largest being big name athletes not attending class and receiving credit for the class. As a competitor in college athletics we often go through the hard work in the classroom, so we can compete on the field when our season comes around. However, we all know the individual that only must stay two years until it is his time to get drafted or signed to professional sports. Why is this so problematic within the sport industry? The individual getting drafted out of college after two years is not necessarily a problem, for the problem lies within the school itself.
