Every single successful person on this earth has doubt with failure. They use it to their advantage and it’s a constant reminder that drives them to do better. Failure is an inevitable part of life that we all encounter. We can’t be successful in everything we engage in. It depends on the person on how much effort one puts into to overcome adversity and failure. Everyone has failed in life but usually failing helps us learn and gain knowledge through the hard work and determination. From that we learn a lesson and that failure is embedded into our mind. In math class of sophomore year, I encountered a moment in my life where I failed. At that moment, I felt as if I wasn’t good enough and was a failure. Having the last two months left of school as the days progressed into summer, I started to get distracted easily in class. Since I was in a high-paced math class, I soon found myself left behind and not understanding the lessons. Instead of seeking help, I kept quiet and tried to catch up on my own. By the time I got caught up to what we learned in the past, I was still behind on what we were currently learning in class. I felt less determined to do well in class. After a couple of week, I found myself in a deep hole that I couldn’t get myself out of. I felt really behind and this resulted in failing my sophomore year math class.
