That is why parents should want their kids to play in the dirt. Kids should also be allowed to play in the dirt because most kids bathe daily. Kids are able to clean themselves every day, making it close to impossible to really pick up a bad disease from only playing in the dirt. Bathing will help get rid of all of or close to all of the dirt and grime on kids' hair and body. In the passage, it brings up how people should bathe and brush their teeth but not be afraid to play in the dirt. “Concussion rates for children under the age of 19 who play football have doubled in the last decade, even though the overall sports participation has declined” (Youth Football Concussion Statistics). Football is extremely popular in American culture. Children all across the world love watching and playing the sport. However, many studies have shown numerous possible long term effects of starting the beloved sport when young. Undeveloped brains have a harder time recovering from bumps and blows that occur during playing time. After examining the long term effects of children playing football, it is clear that the tradition of tackle football in youth should be held off until the brain is more fully developed,
I believe that kids should not pay to play sports because if their families do not have a lot of money, they can’t afford to participate. So what if they are really good at that sport and can’t afford it? Perhaps you ask, What will the coach do now?, you just lost a star player just because he had very little money. So if was a coach I would take that 65.00 to100.00 dollars off hoping it will bring back the kids that were playing in the first places. But you can’t bring the price up again it will just drive them back off.
“Maybe I´m stupid or whatever, but to me if I got a concussion, if I could see straight and carry a football, then I´m not telling anybody”, Ricky Williams, NFL Football player. The argument about whether kids should play football or not is an important topic to argue. People need to understand that the concussions and other injuries are more serious with young kids. The problem is that many people think that it could be stopped by not allowing kids to play at all. Although parents can reduce risk of injury by not allowing their kids to play football, parents should let their children play football because it lets kids follow their dreams, it helps kids become more mature and independant, and if kids use proper technique they can reduce injuries.
Let’s pause for a second, let’s take a look what nature has for us. It is beautiful and yet harmless. Kids’ don’t spend the sufficient time to intake the benefits of nature. Louv says, “Playtime, especially unstructured imaginative, exploratory play is increasingly recognized as an essential component of wholesome child development” (48). He is saying to let our kids free and explore on their own. It is what brings fun to their lives. Knowing what comes next it’s pretty boring. Imagination brings excitement and knowledge to the human kind.
Kids should be required to play a sport. Sports are good for children's health. In the text from Marine Corps Community Services it states, “Programs promote the value and importance of sports and physical activities in the emotional, physical, social, and mental development of children.” This quote proves that programs promotes that children should play sports because playing sports is good for development in many different types of things kids need while they grow up. Another example is,“ Sports practices and games provide an opportunity for exercise that can keep kids in shape and healthy”(Amanda Davis 1).
It is important for children to have opportunities to play as It helps then to develop and get to understand more about themselves and peers and each other’s likes and dislikes and can communicate with each-other and develop their social skills. Children will also be able to learn how to communicate with their main carers and understand more about the physical world and different textures. It's important to create a space for the child to play as all children feel curiosity and have a need to explore different things.

Should kids play football? In recent years parents and grandparents are worrying more and more every day about letting their children or grandchildren play football now than in the past. Roughly four times the number of young football players died from head and spine injuries from 1965 to 1974 compared to 2005-2014, according to previous reports from the University of North Carolina. Teaching kids to be leaders in today’s world is a hard task that many people have tried to do and have been unsuccessful, but youth sports, on the other hand, have no problem teaching kids these important life skills. Ever since Youth competitive sports existed people have been arguing over whether they are. There are many different opinions and theories about the subject of ethics. There are also many different branches and beliefs. Virtue ethics is the main branch we have discussed throughout this course. By studying Socrates’ and Meno’s views on virtue ethics, I have come to develop my own definition of virtue ethics and what it stands for. We have also studied Immanuel Kant’s opinions on duty and the ultimate goal and meaning of life. This has helped mold my opinions on teleology, our purpose in life. This paper will answer the questions of what virtue ethics is, if I believe all human beings are teleological, and if every human being has the same purpose in life.
Parents should not allow their children to play violent video games because they are at risk of becoming desensitized. Parents often let their kids play violent video games so parents do not have to watch over their kids. Why shouldn’t parents let their kids play violent video games? Parents should not let their kids play violent video games because they will be influenced to make the decision to hurt other people. According to Dr. Phil (renowned psychologist), kids don’t think they are actually killing people, usually when they are shooting someone in the game, they are getting bonus points. Kids are also becoming desensitized by all of the violence. Parents, I just want you to know that, if you are allowing your kids to play these horrific games, then you need to keep a close eye on your kids as they grow up, because you never know if they are going to grow up with such barbaric behavior and then apply it to another human being. Obviously, I do not appreciate the fact that parents allow their kids to play violent video games at such a young age. It is undeniable that your kids are might grow up to be serial killers or homicidal
The topic I am going to being doing for my project at my placement at Camperdown nursery is the benefits of outdoor play. There are seven benefits of outdoor play for children, they are learning, creativity, health, social skills, wellbeing and independence. Outdoor play encourages children to go outside and get fresh air and burn off some energy, it can improve their physical development. This relates to my placement as the children get the opportunity to go outside and run about as much as possible on a daily basis.
Before you even begin to think about what exploration activities are, you need to learn what the word exploration actually means. Exploration is the act of investigating or examining something unfamiliar. Therefore, exploration activities are activities that allow children to explore or discover unfamiliar things. Exploration activities are great for students of all ages. It would be ideal, in my opinion for teachers to use exploration activities when teaching children or even adult’s new things.
