If they would want to secure the Raw Materials. (Axis Powers)
Italy was the very one to give up as the Axis partner which made them had to surrender to the Allies in 1943, September 8th . Shortly after six weeks leaders of Italian Fascist Party took away the leader and the dictator.
The Axis Powers had invaded Yugoslavia in 1941, April 6th . The reason for this Axis invasion was the Yugoslav government that not at all honor its obligations from an agreement that was announced March 25th , in 1941, when they had joined the Axis only permit transit only through territory to German troops headed towards Greece.
Germany and Italy had a very strong alliance with each other. They did not only sign one treaty of friendship they signed two the second one was called Pact of The Steel. And later on it would be announced as Tripartite Pact when japan had came in and signed with the axis powers on the 27th of September 1940, and they were allies in World War
Such alliances are the very things that laid the foundation for the conflict of World War I because every country had multiple reasons for joining their respective alliance, mainly for revenge, distrust, or
The World War II, also called The Second World War, began when the Germans invaded Poland in 1939, and when the Germans and the Japanese finally surrendered in 1945, the War ended. The United States entered the war after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. During World War II, the world was divided into two major forces: Axis and Allies. The United States, Britain, the Soviet Union and the French resistance were the Allies, while Germany, Italy, and Japan were the main powers that formed the Axis. Throughout this time, the United States was giving all kinds of support to the Allies, such as armies, weapons, money and other things.
After World War II began in 1939, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt announced the neutrality of the United States. Many people in the United States thought that their country should stay out of the war. The people wanted the Allied Forces to have the victory. President Roosevelt also wanted an Allied victory because an Axis victory might endanger democracies everywhere. The United States equipped nations fighting the Axis with ships, tanks, aircraft, and other war materials. The Axis did not like this. Japan wanted to take over China, but China refused. China was led by Chiang Kai-Shek at the time. Japan wanted the United States to stop sending China supplies, but the United States refused. The United States opposed the expansion of Japan in Asia, so they cut off important exports to Japan.
World War II began on September 1, 1939. It all started when Hitler wanted to expand his territory, and he had planned to invade Poland on this day. Then two years later in 1941 Japan bombed America in which is known as Pearl Harbor and General Eisenhower entered America into World War II. America then joined the Allied powers and helped fight against the Axis powers. The major countries that took part as the Allied Powers in World War II was the United States of America, Great Britain, France, and Russia.Their main goal was to stick together and to defend each other from the attacks of the Axis Powers. The Axis powers consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan.General EIsenhower had been planning an attack on the beaches of Normandy in France.
When World War II started there were two sides to the war, the Axis, consisting of Germany, Italy, and Japan, which formed after the signing of the tripartite pact, and the Allies, consisting of the France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union and China. Some of the United States’ most important battles of World War II happened in the Pacific. The Pacific contained a great portion of World War II. The Americans and Japanese accounted for most of the action that occurred. The Japanese had gained a multitude of momentum from the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, a United States military base, the Invasion of Manchuria, in which they took over the country, and the Invasion of China.
World War II, also known as the Second World War was fought by Japan, Germany and Italy, also referred to as the Axis powers; that went against the Allies that consisted of the United States, the Soviet Union, and Britain with help from others. 60 to 80 billion deaths were the result of World War II ("Reasons for American Entry Into WWII"). Initially the United States did not want to interfere with a war going on in a different continent. At the start of the war America began a state of isolationism which kept America away from the war; until its “breaking point”. America’s deviation from isolationism in World War II is what establishes them as a powerhouse country economically an. Also, how America’s growth industrially lead to a post-war boom.
...Italy and Japan, who's initial goal was world domination while the Allied powers, made up of the United States, Russia and England wanted to prevent it. This war is come to be known as the most deadly war in history because of the death of almost 11 million people in the consentration camps. The Allied powers won the war, putting an end to Hitler's dictatorship and the Holocaust.
The main countries which were involved in World War II were Germany, Japan, and Italy, which were known as the Axis Coalition, against the United States, the Soviet Union, and many other countries. Overall World War II was seen as the most devastating war in human history. Each country had different types of weaponry and artillery which proved to be vital in the result of the war (World War 1).
Alliances between European nations can also be considered an underlying cause of World War I. As a result of the Triple Alliance consisting of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy, the Triple Entente (understanding) was formed between France, Britain, and Russia. Although France and Britain were natural enemies, their fear of Germany united them together with Russia. These alliances set the final stage for the beginning of World War I. Each country in each alliance would help each other during warfare. For example, if Germany attacked France, Britain and Russia would help France, and Italy and Austria would help Germany, dragging Europe into a state of chaos and violence.
...ence of allies and enemies.11 World War II continued for four years until the year 1945 when America and Japan were the only two countries participating. In hopes to end the war America dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and then Nagasaki Japan, giving the Japanese Empire no choice but to surrender.12
Italy and Germany entered World War II and saw the loss of many innocent lives, and saw the downfalls of the Axis powers. Hitler was a man that wanted one superior race, and with that thought in mind, he sent many people to their deaths for not being German. A Bible verse that reminds me of World War II is Matthew 26:52, “Then Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword” (ESV). The Bible talks of their being a time for a war, but this Bible verse shows us that there are times when people should put down their swords and stop the fighting. Hitler and Mussolini sought to strengthen their government, economy, and people, but in the end WWII claimed the lives of many of their
Around 1939 to 1942, the axis powers had a very dominant lead in World War 2. It almost seemed like there would be absolutely no chance of stopping them. As it’s been said, sometimes people with the highest power can make forgetful mistakes that can cost them their seat. But the amazing thing is both Japan and Germany were at their highest point in power by 1942. In just a matter of 3 years, all is lost. So the only main question that still stands: what exactly happened?
And they faced the other European powers, which consisted of Germany and Italy in the other camp. There were also many smaller countries in both camps including Croatia, Bulgaria and Slovakia all members of the Anti-Comintern Pact and therefore included with the Axis Powers. The main members and founders of the Anti-Comintern Pact, Germany, Italy and Japan were all seen as the 'bad guys' because of their aggressive foreign policies. All three countries' foreign policies involved attacking other countries for resources or land and this is why they were separated from other European countries and branded 'aggressive'. Italy was the first country to pursue their aggressive ways in Europe when Mussolini turned them into a Fascist country in 1922.
World War II, or the Second World War, was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the world's nations, including all of the great powers, organized into two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. The Allied Powers consisted of the British Empire, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the United States of America was known as “The Big Three”. The Axis Powers consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan, they were part of a military alliance on the signing of the Tripartite Pact in September 1940.
In 1882, Italy joined the Dual Alliance which created the Triple Alliance. By 1887 Bismarck succeeded to bind Russian in a separate alliance which was called the Reinsurance Treaty. Also Germany kept friendly acquaintances with Britain so that such a powerful nation with not be against Germany. This way, Bismarck^s plan succeeded and now France was truly friendless, powerless and isolated.
