What can cause a significant change in someone’s life?
A significant change can be caused by something or someone that a person loves. Significant changes can be caused by losing something you love or a Helping hand given by some one. Here are some Significant changes that caused a person to change. One sudden change is that in the “christmas carol” when scrooge finds out Tiny Tim is really sick and there would be a chance that we won't make it out alive. So Scrooge is afraid that tiny tim will die so he started to help Tiny Tim.Another sudden change is in “Thank you m’am” when Roger gets caught when he tried to steal Mrs.Jones pocketbook and Mrs.Jones
Drags Roger to her house and helps him get clean and food. Then she leaves Roger in a room
The term change means to become different. People change throughout their life based on their personal actions, decisions, and experiences. This applies to characters in books as well. In the novel The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin, Angela Wexler, Grace Wexler, and Sydelle Pulaski are shown to have changed greatly.
Life changes, which leads humans to change, some changes are little others are dramatic, some
Another example is when my principal was doing [Project Wisdom] and he said, "'The position of the earth is changed by the weight of a tiny bird resting upon it,' said the famous Leonardo da Vinci." The first thought that entered my mind was, "What was the point of that quote?" But the more I thought about it the more I began to realize what da Vinci was saying. If a little bird - a small portion of mass - can change the position of the earth, then little things can make a difference. For example, I used to always be selfish. I mean, when I opened the door to enter or exit a building I would let the door slam on the other person's face. I had a total disregard for other people. Now, I am nice. I care a lot about others. When I enter or exit a building now I hold the door open for the next person to enter or exit. There was this one woman who seemed like she was always in a bad mood.
A personal change I would like to make is my approach and the response I display to my teammates and the organization. I am a very independent person at work, I tend to be a controlling person in every aspect. However, I am trying to overcome this debilitating trait by learning new techniques and reflecting on the other person’s ideas, comments, efforts and suggestions without taking control. I do complete my task with little or no assistance, but it causes me to be detached, indifferent, and uninvolved from my teammates causing conflicting issues. I do sense a distance between myself and my teammates, but I continue to work hard and remain focus.
My whole life, I have been presented to a single element called change. Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in many different ways. However, just recently, I have come to the realization that change can be the deepest of all subjects. I always assumed that change occured when you moved to a new town or when you lost someone close to you. Those are elements to change, yes, but change doesn't have to occur over a single dramatic event. It can just happen overnight when your brain determines it's time to do something different.
Trying to pick one single moment from my life to show how significant it is to me wasn't easy. I mean I went full conspiracy theory on this like I took all the memories I could think off and just brainstormed to see how significant they were to my life, and how my life would have changed if this event didn’t happen. At the end of my brainstorming, I found the single moment in my life that changed me a moment that helped lay seeds that would help lead me to find one of the most important things in life, which was the time I moved seats in grade 8 science class. Believe it or not, simply changing my seat one day in science class changed my life, to understand why this decision was life-altering you need to know what led up to my decision and its aftermath. I changed my seat in science class after
The most prominent event that comes to mind is an event that everyone has had at least once in his or her life. This event changed my life in many ways. It has shaped me, changed me, and caused me to have more respect for not just my life, but also the lives of my friends, family, and the people I love and care for. This event happened in the middle of my freshman year at high school. I was young and innocent and had no idea that my outlook on life would change that day.
Change can have many meanings. It is going from “same” to “different”. Change can be defined as an event that occurs when something passes from one state or phase to another and as a process of transition. The forces of change affect attitudes, beliefs and behavior. Not a single moment goes by when everything in our lives will remain the same. When you become adjusted to your surroundings, something changes again. Changes can affect both individuals and groups. Throughout our lives we go through many changes, especially in adolescence.
According to Witkavitch (2010) life is about change and as human beings we’re always changing, growing, transforming and transitioning our lives. Our whole life is made up of change. It is relative to time and a natural component of our everyday life. Things change, they grow, they develop, they die, and something else shows up. There are many changes that can occur during a person’s lifetime. For instance, we all were once kids who changed into adults. With that said, as we age, dreams change. There will always be something new in life and we can’t expect everything to fall in place as we wish because the future is constantly changing. In the age of globalization, information and communication revolution changes are affecting our lifestyles, our ways of thinking, feelings and the way we act. Life changes everyday for a person in some way. Just like we expect the seasons to change and children to grow older. Some changes are very small and can affect your life in an enormous way. However, other events can be very important and could change your whole life such as getting married, getting arrested, having a baby, and even losing a close friend or relative. The important events that altered my life are coming the United States, playing club soccer, becoming a U.S. citizen, going to graduate school and studying abroad. In this in paper, I will discuss how these phases transformed my life physically and mentally.
There are many things that can cause a significant change in someone’s life. Things can change someone’s life in an instant, while some will slowly change someone’s life over time. Some changes are for the better, and some can be for the worse. In stories like the Outsiders and A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley, we had seen the characters’ lives change throughout the story. Some of the main things that can change someone’s life are moving, a close person to you dying, the people around you, and the events that happen.
In life, everyone seems to face unwanted obstacles. These obstacles are the cause of all the twists and turns people experience. Like most challenges in life, mine came unexpected and would change both myself and my life in ways I couldn’t imagine. At my former University, I was part of the cheerleading team, this allowed me to develop friendships with certain football players. One night my best friend and I decided to hang out with one of our friends on the team. Later that night, we all ended up falling asleep. I woke up to him sexually assaulting both my best friend and myself. After this happens, we both were scared and confused on what we should. The next day, in need of major advice I turned to my close friends on the cheerleading team
One of the most significant was definitely having a child. Of course there are less physical changes from my own aspect considering I am not the mother, but as the father there is an entire set of mental and emotional changes you go through and it has definitely changed my life entirely. This is one of the most influential moments of my life and now that I am reflecting on it I am able to see aspects of psychology that were apparent during this event. I believe this experience shows traits of both the psychodynamic and neuroscience perspectives. Having your first child causes your body to start using instincts and behaviors that you hadn’t otherwise until that point as well as causing you to feel many different emotions all at once.
An Event which changed my life, well when, I think back on my life there’s
For most of us, it’s impossible to know how we would react when faced with a situation that puts lives on the line. We can only truly know our reactions when we are faced with a situation such as a home invasion or a natural disaster. However, we can determine one thing: in a time of crisis, is it more important to us to save our own life or the life of someone else?
In my life, I have been exposed to a challenge called change. Change can occur in many different ways and is dealt with in many different ways. I have come to the awareness that change can be the deepest of all things. I always thought that change occurred when you moved to a state or when you lost someone real close to you. Those are a challenge to change, yes, but change doesn’t have to occur over a climactic incident. It can just appear overnight when your brain winds up when it’s time to do something different. Even with friends that you used to have and know that move on. For example, most of my friends from elementary school, I don’t even talk to them anymore.
