Napoleon or Snowball for leader of the farm but which is better? The strict and orderly one, or the passionate and doesn’t kill their own kind one? Out of both of the leaders it would be Snowball. He isn’t mean or causes misery, he doesn’t kill his own kind, and he makes sure everyone knows what is happening. He is always letting the other animals know what is going on. He has never disobeyed the Seven Commandments. As well, he has an incredible passion towards the animals. Out of Napoleon or Snowball, Snowball is the better leader from his personality and compassion towards others. To begin, Snowball always lets the animals know what is going on. One instance of this is when the animals went to attack Mr. Jones and some of his men, Snowball let them know they were going to fight. The text states, “‘War is war. The only good human being is a dead one”’ (Orwell pg 43). This shows that Snowball let the animals know they were going to war and they may have to kill. Another instance is the windmill and how he told them they were making it. The author states, “When they held the meeting Snowball went over all the plans for the windmill” (Orwell pg. 48).
