Classical Rhetoric is a type of persuasive action or a type of way to motivate someone. It is also considered a type of art. People usually use Classical Rhetoric in writing or verbally. Speeches are a great example of Classical Rhetoric, for example when Obama was running for president; he did a speech that would convince people to vote for him. Classical Rhetoric originated from Ancient Greece around 500 BC. The inventors of Classical Rhetoric decided to teach Classical Rhetoric to the people who lived in Ancient Greece. In Ancient Greece, public speaking/writing (Classical Rhetoric) was one of the best forms of education. People in today’s modern time use Classical Rhetoric but we call it “figure of speech”.
