To the best teacher I have ever had.
Honestly, I am not sure as to where I should begin thanking you. Should I thank you for your saint like patience for putting up with me, or for being the best teacher ever, or for supporting and encouraging me to soar beyond level 3, or for having the sort of belief that my parents and grandparents have in me, or for being the only person to have ever inspired and influenced like my grandfather. The one thing that I am sure about is that I am extremely lucky to have had you as my teacher and mentor, without you aiding me in every step of my journey, I won’t be the individual and the learner that I am today. You have inspired me with your attitude both in and out of class. Your enthusiasm and excitement to learn new things have inspired me to think more, learn more, to question concepts and to not just accept things as they are. Out of class, you are someone who is never afraid to express your ideas, no matter how unorthodox they are, and this truly motivated me to not hold back and to fully express myself. The things I have learnt from you will always stay with me and they will continue to make me a better person.

Dear Mrs Nicol,
Thank you for being a brilliant teacher; you are simply one of the best teacher that I have ever had. Your amazing passion and enthusiasm for chemistry is evident in your teaching and this enthusiasm of yours’ has rubbed off on me and it motivated me to do better. With your experience in chemistry, you have not only taught me the concepts but also their applications, and this has opened my eyes to the importance of chemistry in our lives.
Thank you for being a great teacher.
On behalf of my entire family, I want to thank all of you for your compassion and for being present here today. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Mauri-Lynne, and I'm Lionel's daughter. Dad was devoted to every one of you. We all hope that you'll share your memories of him with us, if not today then in the weeks and months to come.
I stand before you today to pay my last respects, and to say my final goodbyes, to my father Harry.
Eulogy for Son First, I would like to say thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love and affection from our community at last night’s viewing for John. Roger at the funeral home told us this was the largest turnout he could remember. Close to 1,000 friends—and many people who were merely touched by John’s story—waited up to four hours in the rain to pay their respects. We want you to know how very grateful and very touched we were by the response.
Eulogy for Son The Death of a Child. Not many people realize that the death of a child is NOT in accordance with God’s NORMAL scheme of things. It is not a natural. God did not mean for a child to go first. A child buries the parent.
I wanted to thank Ms. Geary for reminding me how much writing can do for me. It helped me realize that writing isn’t so horrible but it is just hard work. My writing skills have improved due to this class and all Ms. Geary had taught me. She made class fun with her inflections and just the way she says everything, her personality definitely showed through. I looked forward to class but never the homework. Finally after reading over my final drafts of: My Past as a Writer, Problematic Essay and my Exploratory Research Paper I realize that I have dramatically improved my writing skills in every draft thanks to revisions and some positive criticism for Ms. Geary. I think I am now ready to take on the next step in the English world.
Sharon's passion for science made her all the more anxious for her chemistry and marine science classes. Sharon is especially excited to learn about chemical compounds and chemical equations in chemistry. Despite this, the first day of school wasn't one for the books as she knew very few people and was lonely.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is apparently my job to do all the thankyous. The first and biggest thankyou is to all of you. Thank you all for choosing to share today with us. We are delighted and touched to see so many of you here. And thank you, of course, for all the wonderful gifts.
Thanks Miss Smith for making Science, History, Art, Drama, and Tech amazing classes. You are a wonderful teacher who makes learning fun, and I appreciate that. Furthermore, thank you Mr. Rague. Without your help, this speech would not have been written. You push every single one of your students to do their best since you know what all of us are capable of. Also, thank you Mr. Hall. I look forward to gym every Wednesday and Monday since you make it extremely amusing. Thank you to Mr. Block as well for helping me understand math better and for leading the 7/8th grade girls to winning the championship. Lastly, thank you Mrs. Rague. Before health class started, I did not know much about the heart, the food groups, the lungs, etc., but with your help I am basically a pro on all of the subjects. Thank
I first want to start off by thanking my parents.I wouldn't be here today without your unconditional love and support.Mom,you have done so much for me whether that be driving me around, packing my lunch everyday
Today, the most difficult day in my family’s life, we gather to say farewell to our son, brother, fiancé and friend. To those of you here and elsewhere who know Dylan you already are aware of the type of person he was and these words you will hear are already in your memory. To those who were not as fortunate, these words will give you a sense of the type of man he was and as an ideal for which we should strive. My son has been often described as a gentle soul. He was pure of heart and had great sensitivity for the world around him. He had a way with people that made them feel comfortable around him and infected others to gravitate toward him. Dylan exuded kindness and pulled generosity and altruism out from everyone he touched. He was everyone's best friend.
Before I begin I would like to thank all of you here on behalf of my mother, my brother and myself, for your efforts large and small to be here today, to help us mark my fathers passing.
I have so many people I need to thank. First, I want to thank my parents and my brother, Ethan for always encouraging me to do my best. I also want to thank Mr. Foster and Mrs. Rummery for giving me a second and third chance, and for giving me every opportunity to be successful. If it wasn't for them, I would not be graduating today. I would also like all of my amazing teachers for what they have done for me, but there are three that I would like to thank specifically. I want to thank Mrs. Craft for always motivating me and for recognizing the potential in not only myself, but in all of her students, and I want to wish her a happy retirement. Thank you for all you have done for me and all you have done for education. I also want to thank Mrs. White for always encouraging me to work hard and adopt a growth mindset that motivated me to be successful in College English. I also want to thank her for always encouraging me to express my thoughts and opinions, whether it be through an essay or through discussion, and being interested in what I
Now I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me get this far. First of all, thank you to all the teachers. None of us would be here without you always pushing our academic abilities to the fullest. Jessica Parker a.k.a. my partner in crime as Mr. Tri would refer to us. You made everyday coming to school worthwhile. Hillary Laswell, who would leave third period to go steal flowers from horticulture and give them to Mrs. Granillo with me. My brother Jeramie who always said, "If anyone is mean to you, I'll take care of it." My Mom, thank you for always believing in me and putting up with me when I was a real jerk.
I would like to thank my wonderful children, Michael, Daniel, Tiffany, Cindy, Brian, Amanda, Kwanza, and my baby girl Kali for always making me smile and for understand-ing on those days/nights and weekend mornings when I was writing this book instead of playing or hanging out with them. I would love to express my gratitude to my elder brother Nathan, my elder sister Victo-ria, my beautiful tall sister in-law Stella, and my best friend Connie for all the many dif-ferent parts of my life each of them have touched and continue to
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
