Logos a way for writers to use any form of mathical reasons, such as numbers, facts, or statistics, in their article or in their arguments. Goode provided facts and statistics throughout her article, and knowledged that mental health should be taken serious, because the issue is increasing every year. Goode logically support her information about the framework of the Precede-Proceed, and discussed the seriousness of school counselors and other school officials playing a major role in decreasing the chance of students having depression, stress, and high levels of anxiety.

Goode has a history of being in the field of mental health, which she writes many articles about the effects of behavior disorders in our society, and help raise awareness to the public by giving facts and statistics. In her article “More in College Seek Help For Psychological Problems,” Goode stated that, “From 1989 to 2001, the percentage of students treated for depression doubled. So did the percentage of suicidal students, according to the study, conducted at the counseling center at Kansas State University.” Goode used statistics done by Kansas State University, which showed the amount of students had doubled for getting treated for depression, and led to the increase results of suicidal students. Goode showed her readers that she has enough credibility in her article, for whoever is in the field of the mental health or in the field Behaviorism, to knowledge the crisis of depression, stress, and high levels of anxiety among university students. Since Goode’s focus into show the framework of Precede-Proceed for mental health issues among university students, ethos will help to built more credibility and expectations with her
