Throughout the hierarchy of our society we see inequality and oppression between genders, masculine and feminism from the beginning of the time. Most cases, women are oppressed by man or even more by the same gender. For many years there was not an ethical standard or policies to protect women from men's abuse. Masculine gender has used his upper position in a family nucleus or at job to commit violent or unfair acts against women to reaffirm his position. There are a constant abuse from male workers to female co-workers around the world. Based of Ethics of Gender, there were present several emerging or emergent issues of Feminist Moral Theory related to the film "North Country."

Josey tried many time to make sense to her male coworkers and the company to deserve a equal rights at work for women to be respect like everyone else. In many cases, when Josey was trying to express all his concern and problem at work, she was practically ignored just by his inferiority gender. Don person the owner of the mine and Pavich her supervisor did not take seriously her claim of the constant verbal, and physical abuses that women were subject. Finally, Joys decide to take his claim to court looking for a fair decision and as solution to make her voice heard in name of female workers.
For many time, women have present unjust treatment by men in their house, school, street and job. Physical and mental abuses are regular in many women life. Women are exposure to a continue sexual intimidation and institution with incident vocabulary, facial expression, and personal contact. Since this movie is based in a real life experience, it is a brave and admirable act for a woman to fight for her gender's rights. In general, these issues in women life are thing that must be take seriously after all they are human being which deserve a fair deal at
