Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We all have many things in common and one of them is we all fall short of the glory of God because of our sins, which leads to eternal punishment. But God is rich in His mercy and grace sent His Son to die in the place of those that repent and place their faith in Him.

John 3:15 states whoever believes in Him, that 's the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have eternal life. Whoever places a saving faith, which is nothing less than a commitment of your life to the Lord Jesus shall not be eternally punished but receive eternal life.

Sin leads to the second death, eternal punishment, which we all deserve, but God offers us the exact opposite of what we deserve, eternal life. The way to receive this gift is by repentance and faith. Turning from your sins that are against God and placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the living Savior. It 's surrendering your life to the living Savior. He willingly went to the cross, shed blood, died and on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead and 40 days later He ascended to heaven. This one that calls you to be saved by placing your faith in Him is in heaven. Have you ever thought about what happens after you die. Dear friends there is life beyond the grave. When animal dies they cease to exist, it 's like a switch is turned off. You and I are created in Gods image and will live forever. There is no off switch it 's a transition. We all have to give an account of our lives to God. Most people will say I 'll wait until I die to find out if that 's true and if it is then I 'll make things right with God. You can 't make things right with God after you die. It 's too late, you can only make things right with God here in your life history.
