Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We all have many things in common and one of them is we all fall short of the glory of God because of our sins, which leads to eternal punishment. But God is rich in His mercy and grace sent His Son to die in the place of those that repent and place their faith in Him.
John 3:15 states whoever believes in Him, that 's the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have eternal life. Whoever places a saving faith, which is nothing less than a commitment of your life to the Lord Jesus shall not be eternally punished but receive eternal life.

Sin leads to the second death, eternal punishment, which we all deserve, but God offers us the exact opposite of what we deserve, eternal life. The way to receive this gift is by repentance and faith. Turning from your sins that are against God and placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the living Savior. It 's surrendering your life to the living Savior. He willingly went to the cross, shed blood, died and on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead and 40 days later He ascended to heaven. This one that calls you to be saved by placing your faith in Him is in heaven. Have you ever thought about what happens after you die. Dear friends there is life beyond the grave. When animal dies they cease to exist, it 's like a switch is turned off. You and I are created in Gods image and will live forever. There is no off switch it 's a transition. We all have to give an account of our lives to God. Most people will say I 'll wait until I die to find out if that 's true and if it is then I 'll make things right with God. You can 't make things right with God after you die. It 's too late, you can only make things right with God here in your life history.
1 Timothy 3:16 The mystery of godliness is God was manifested in the flesh. God is fully manifested in the person of Jesus Christ. God became a physical man. It is the worlds creator that hung on a cross. It is the judge of this world that bled and died. The worlds creator and judge is the Savior who hung on a
I believe in God as my savior and that if I follow his word and do not sin that I will gain eternal life and go to heaven. I have a relationship with God try not to sin and if I do I do ask for forgiveness. There are so many things that he does for us that so many people do not get to experience as they do not believe. It opens your eyes when you do experience a “sign” that God is there leading you to do something without even second doubting yourself as you just know it is the right thing to do as there is no other reason for it except one,
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)
Differing Functions in Popular Culture It only makes sense that there are countless novels and films focused on the afterlife when we consider the human race 's collective interest in what happens after death. Several popular movies have presented different versions of the afterlife, each with their own purpose. Beetlejuice (1988) tells the story of two individuals who pass away in their home, and must navigate their new existence in the afterlife by reading a book entitled Handbook for the Recently Deceased. In this movie, the two deceased individuals seem to be in an intermediate realm between Earth and the Netherworld (similar to Hell); they are in regular contact with a girl living in their previous home, but they also visit the Netherworld
consequences of sin. Paul confirms this in Romans 3:10, “There is none righteous, no not one.”
‘‘For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God’’ (vv. 17, 18).
While discussing revelation and inspiration in his letter to the Corinthians, Paul stated that the world could not know God by this type of wisdom. (I Cor. 1:21) He continued by mentioning some things that man had not known; however, he said, “God has revealed them to us through His Spirit…” (I Cor. 2:9-10)
All are tormented and tortured, in isolation from God, without any hope of mercy or relief (Robinson). Many Christians believe that when a person dies, they enter into complete oblivion – a state of non-existence. They remain in dormancy. At the time of the second coming of Jesus, the dead are resurrected and judged. Those who have been saved while on earth will be given special bodies and go to Heaven, unlike the unsaved who will go to Hell for eternal punishment (Robinson).
In other words, Jesus, although perfect and blameless in all His ways, took on the title criminal and died as such. He was crucified on a cross at Calvary. No other God has died for his people. Jesus drank the cup of wrath that was reserved for mankind (Matthew 26:39). Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” The death and resurrection of Jesus purchased victory over death for humanity, if they choose to accept Him as their Lord and Savior (1 Cor. 15:55). Those who cling to the Gospel, either in sharing it or receiving of it, must believe that Jesus’ death is the only route to attain salvation. He is the only way, truth, and life (John 14:6,
Sin is something that we all will struggle with for the duration of our lives. Some people live in bondage to their sin because they don’t know how to undo the patterns of their sins, but, because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we do. Living and growing through Jesus is the only way to undo the patterns of our sin and not revert to sin again. Jesus fulfilled His destiny through His death and resurrection. Now we must fulfill our destinies and train ourselves so our sin does taint them.
"Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." (James 1:15), or as Paul puts it in Romans 6:23 " the wages of sin is death". Christ never sinned, and therefore did not earn the wages of sin. Therefore God raised him from the dead "having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it." (Acts 2:24). The full story of Christ's death and resurrection can be found in Matthew 27 & 28, Mark 15 & 16, Luke 23 & 24, and John 18 - 21.
Because Adam and Eve took of the forbidden fruit, sin and all kinds of evil were unleashed into the world. This sin is what separates men and women from the relationships that God intended them to have, not only with him, but all those around us (Jenson, 2016, p. 75). Even at birth, babies are born with this nature of selfishness, and this could carry on through the person’s whole adult life (Jenson, 2016, p. 76). However, we are given something we will never be deserve: salvation. This salvation is granted to us through the death of Jesus Christ, although, that is not the end to this story. Jesus was not subject to death. God raised his Son from the realm of death in order that this broken relationship between Himself and humanity may be restored in a way that death cannot overcome (Jenson, 2016, p. 79). In this event, humanity was buried with Christ so that each person could live a new life that is radically different from their old self (Romans 6:4). That is to say, though each person is born into sin, they have the opportunity to live a life free from sin through believing in this story, that Jesus was crucified, yet was raised from the dead in order that humanity can live a new life in honor of Him. This community of believers is known as the church. The church is considered to be one group whose common goal is to reach out to the rest of the world through the use of the gospel, which can
There are several methods of achieving immortality, each with its own problems. The first of this methods is to reverse or stop aging, as this is logically one of the main causes of death. In scientific terms this is called biological immortality. A cell or organism that does not age, or stops to age at some point, is biological immortal. Though this seems impossible there are in fact some species which naturally have this ability. An example of this is the Turritopsis nutricula, a jellyfish. Once the jellyfish has become mature it is capable of reversing its aging cycle and to turn itself into a younger version of itself, making it technically immortal.
