MY PERSONALITY PROFILE My conformed profile is Introvert, iNtuitive, Feeling and Perceiving (INFP). It is not easy to describe myself as I cannot see my person from outside but better still I am the one that knows me very well than anyone else. Based on my conformed type I am going to describe myself as detailed as I can. As I said earlier I have preference for intraverting, intuition, feeling and perceiving. Mostly people with such personality are referred to as “Mediators” and/or “Idealists”. This is true because I am the type that looks for the good in anything or any person no matter how bad it is. Other researchers also refer to the INFPs as “Dreamers” because of their wonder nature; they never stopped being fascinated. Having preference for INFP means that in business, and in school I am calm, reserved and because of that my colleagues …show more content…
I will not be afraid in making mistakes, I will act and correct myself as I go. (c)Exercise: I am going to employ exercise and drinking much water as a way to control stress. When I am stressed up I suddenly turn to something else and unconsciously behaves different from the ways I really am. (d) Taking things Personal: I will use criticism and challenges as motivation and not take them too personal. This is the summary of my personality profile. An ENFP is usually the type of person whose strengths are being curious and likes exploring new ideas and things. They are also observant, energetic, very popular and can make new friends easily, and are very excellent at communicating. They are very good at making new friends and have an easy time talking to people because they are good at communicating. But a person who is an ENFP also has some weaknesses such as, finding some topics difficult to focus on, they often overthink things and get easily
There is so many different personalities in the world, and how boring would it be if we all acted the same. “Every society and social group has values, experiences, and understandings that are widely shaped among members but may not be endorsed by those outside of the culture or group” (Wood, 2016, p.54). This is your personal identity , which is how you choose to live your life and what you stand for. Your idenity can be shared closly with other people. However, your personality is uniquily your own, this is the way you have decided to represent your idenity (Hontoy, 2015). I learned that I am an ESTJ type, extravert (19%), sensing (12%), thinking (1%), and judging (44%). Some of the concepts that I read about my personality type I recognized in myself and some opened my eyes to new concepts about myself (Humanmetrics, 2016).
INFP stands for introvert, intuitive, feeling and perceiving. INFP personality types tend to be optimistic, altruistic and create. They value harmony, flexibility and dedication. However, they can be difficult to open up and socialize with others. Additionally, their focus can become sometimes too intense, so they may forget about important matters. Finally, they tend to dislike facts, data and monotony. Therefore, students with an INFP personality type should carefully select their degree program.
This paper researches the typical traits of the INTJ personality type according to the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator. Additionally, I will be discussing the opposite personality of INTJ, type ESFP. I will detail two past experiences where my INTJ personality posed problems. This paper will also explore strategies that may benefit the INTJ personality type, myself included.
We tend to take things in intuitively. Our secondary mode is internal, where we deal with things according to how we feel about them, or how they fit in with our personal value system. I am an extroverted person, I am a warm, enthusiastic person. I love to live in a world of possibilities, and I tend to become very passionate and excited about things. My enthusiasm lends me to be able to inspire and motivate others. I am able to talk my way out of anything. I enjoy life, seeing it as a special gift, and strive to make the most out of it. ENFPs have an unusually broad range of skills and talents. They are good at most things which interest them. My clearest preference was that I am an individual who is very extroverted. I always considered myself to be introverted, because I felt I was very quite, and did my own things. I believe the Myers Brigg was able to help me realize that I am actually a very out going
There are many types of diverse people classified under various categories. Some people have different types of personalities. They could be classified as extremely manipulative, others as impulsive, and some may not show anything on the outside and have wonderful social skills. These categories help in the understanding of humans. This study is called Psychology and there are many different subfields in this diverse study of the people around us. One subfield that is particularly interesting is personality psychology. Personality psychology is a branch of psychology that studies personality and its variation between individuals.
Before taking the Myers-Briggs Interactive Test, I didn’t really know what to expect or what kind of questions I would be answering in order to determine what my personality type would be. Afterwards however, I wasn’t too surprised with my results of the test. Out of the sixteen different personality types, I got the INFJ personality type which simply means dominant introverted intuition. All of those letters were pretty self-explanatory and accurate according to how my temperament and personality are. The statistical conclusion was 67% introvert (I), 38% intuitive (N), 50% feeling (F), and 56% judging (J). Therefore I had a distinctive preference of introversion over extraversion, a moderate preference of intuition over sensing, a moderate preference of feeling over thinking, and a moderate preference of judging over perceiving.
Known also as the Healer, Mediator or Idealist, the INFP is an emotional personality. INFPs have many strengths, with their loved ones and friends admiring and depending on them for their happiness and optimism. Their belief that every person can be good creates an incredibly adaptable attitude in the face of hard times. People with the INFP personality type have no interest in controlling other people in their life, and don’t care for authoritarian personas and attitudes. Instead, INFPs prefer a democratic and fair approach to choices, and work hard to ensure that every perspective is heard. INFPs apply their intuitive nature and open-mindedness to see things from unconventional perspectives. INFPs are not constricting with their lives, they live their life how they want; they can’t stand being constrained by rules and regulations. INFPs give support to others and, as long as their principles or ideas are not threatened, they will often support others in what they think is
My personality type is Extroverted, intuitive, feeling, perceptive or ENFP. According to the description in the exercise, ENFP's are warm, enthusiastic and live their outer life more with intuition and their inner more with feeling. This assessment is consistent with the results that I received in part I of the exercise. I am an extroverted person who enjoys being around and working with people.
What do you think of when you hear the word personality? Have you ever taken a personality test? What did you think of it, was it accurate? This experiment was to test the accuracy of personality tests. Personality is found in the part of the brain called the prefrontal cortex, what is personality and why do people enjoy taking personality test, history and explanation of the Myers-Briggs inventory.
Our personalities are what distinguish us from each other beyond our appearance; without them, we would all behave and react in the same way. Personality is the reason we are outgoing or introverted, persistent or blaze, and anxious or calm. We each have different levels of these competing characteristics that make us unique. But why are personalities so varied? Personality is determined by an array of factors from genetic and biological to the personal experiences and decisions we have faced from the day we are born. The complexity of our personalities cannot be simply explained, and for this reason there exists many different theories of how it’s developed and personality is still deeply under study. I went into this subject with an open-mind
Both of these goals will help better my the way I care for myself by allowing me to identify eustress, personal stressors, stress relievers, and proactive approaches that lead to better maintenance of balancing stress levels. Having a better overall understanding will hopefully allow me to perceive innocent stressful situations in a much more calm, non-threatening way, and aware that there are many things within my control that I can do to better myself. By discovering more specific helpful patterns, techniques, and tricks, I will be able to use those for a wider rang, long-term oriented goal, directed more specifically towards a profession as a
Personality takes many shapes and forms and is affected by many factors. My understanding of personality is simply a genetic and environmentally determined set of psychological traits that influence our reactions in the world around us. Genetic because our parents possess a certain set of psychological personality traits that we tend to have in common with them so therefore in my opinion there are heritable personality traits. Personality is environmental because we each have our own separate experiences in the world and these experiences help form our unique personality. Neo-Freudians such as Jung have given us a wide array of ideas of how they believe personality is developed and formatted. Jung in particular has a very interesting
Characteristics a feature or quality belonging to a person, place or thing and serving to identify it. There are many personal characteristics that can define a person as an individual; some characteristics determined if a person is nice, disrespectful, intelligent, or not intelligent but it determines how a person interprets you. I believe that every individual has integrity as one of their characteristics, but my top three characteristics are Integrity, Compassion, and hard-working and for the person who carried me throughout my whole life “my brother” his characteristics would be his responsibility.
Hi, my name is Rob Geis and I am currently in grade 12. I have been at County High School for a year now; I joined at the start of 11th grade, and have thoroughly enjoyed myself here. The school is great, the people are fantastic and the atmosphere is one that makes you actually want to go to school. Before I joined ASB I was studying at the Singapore American School for two years and prior to that I was at the International School of Kuala Lumpur for two years. I was born and raised here in Bombay city and grew up here.
