Because of that we have to help them to integrate themselves our life style. As an example without knowing the culture they are going to have problems with other people, because they can’t understand the reasons for people’s actions. Society has to help them to learn and to adopt our culture. Otherwise they are going to have confusion and they will try to preserve their culture or they want to create different culture which will make challenges to our national and societal security. They are ready to take the challenges and to be part of our nation and society, with our help they can make smooth transition. Immigrants are ready to transform themselves for being part of improved state and civilization. Being part of society will create loyalty to our nation which will promote our national

US built in the diversity, people from the different group get together and created the great nation. In order to help for the citizens to get comfortable government created the welfare, food stamps, community colleges or learning programs. But at the end society turn to the people back and make them look as a not useful people that has to be get rid of. Once there are need need for the people in the job such as chip labor in the farms, factories etc., it make sense to accept immigrants, although when there is labor exceed and the demand decline it is time to through the people away by deporting them
It is true that the more people from different cultures that are in a given area, the more the cultures are diversified. However, with all realities, some claim that immigrants dilute the American culture. Indeed, they cause some changes to the culture. Nevertheless, these changes can bring a wealth of attraction and a source of beauty for the country that everyone should be proud of. It is obvious that every single immigrant in the US has his own culture and way of life. When all these are added together, they form a very rich culture. In addition, they bring various interesting aspects such as food, music, literature, etc. That makes the Americans rich in cultural knowledge. The importance of cultural diversity is that it teaches the people to understand each other’s views, interests, and ideas and helps people view the world in different ways. This would finally lead the society to work towards each other’s interest, mutual goals, and objectives. Tamar Jacoby in his article “Are Today’s Immigrants Assimilating in U.S Society, Yes,” he said that, “Those who are coming now are people who understand cultural fluidity, understand intermarriage and find that a natural, easy thing. This maintains unity and balances in the society” (411). Once this stage is reached, all the problems would be solved. Then it can be said that America has reached a true democracy, echoed by
Many people in America want to assimilate to the U.S. because they think that being American is a better option. People such as the Italians in the 1870s tried to assimilate in order to become an American to not become an enemy in the U.S. Also, the Mexicans today are constantly coming to the U.S. to have a better life because they know being American is the best solution for their problems at home. What assimilation mean is when a person leaves one’s own culture to join a different culture the person wants to be. For the purpose of this essay, an American is a person who has commitment to succeed in what one wants, able to speak english, to love the pop culture in the U.S. at the time one is living such as the hit songs, games, T.V. shows, etc. but not to other cultures, and be a citizen in America. People throughout history must assimilate to become a true American
Several years ago, America was taught to be a 'melting pot,' a place where immigrants of different cultures or races form an integrated society, but now America is more of a 'salad bowl' where instead of forming an incorporated entity the people who make up the bowl are unwilling to unite as one. America started as an immigrant nation and has continued to be so. People all over the world come to America for several reasons. Most people come to America voluntarily, but very few come unwillingly. For whatever reasons they may have for coming they all have to face exposure to American society. When exposed to this 'new' society they choose whether to assimilate or not. Assimilation in any society is complex. Since assimilation is not simple, people will have negative experiences when assimilating into American society.
Immigration has been a topic that has caused multiple discussions on why people migrate from one country to another, also how it affects both the migraters and the lands they go. Immigration is the movement from one location to another to live there permanently. This topic has been usually been associated with sociology to better explain how it affects people, cultures and societies. Sociology has three forms of thinking that are used to describe and analyze this topic. There are three forms of thinking that are used to tell and describe immigration to society; structural functionalist, symbolic interactionist, and conflict theory. Each of these theories uses different forms of thinking and rationality to describe and explain socio topics.
The issue of assimilation is the idea whereby the various culture takes each other and keep their culture differences aside in that the adopt to one and live in peace(Leiter, et al. 2015). It a challenging thing because one needs to learn why other do some rite of passage which becomes hard to adopt.
The theoretical framework is based, on the one hand, on theories that explain the integration model in each country, which are assimilation and multiculturalism. On the other hand, it is based on the intersectionality theory, which explains the multiple-discrimination that a person can experience. The selected three theories are essential to formulating the research hypotheses, which will subsequently be tested throughout this study.
There are many challenges faced by the immigrant. They come to this land and hope to be treated with Respect and pledge allegiance to the American flag just like the Average American. Since the beginning of time immigrants have come to the U.S to with one goal: to make a better life for them and their family. In the world today immigration is a well known subject by many. The U.S needs to find a solution to immigration to keep crime out of this great country. If the borders are not strengthened some time soon the future of America could be put at great

However, there are many problems we cannot solve because it is huge than our abilities. It makes everyone of us carry it off by different courses by moving starting with one nation then onto the next looking for another life. Working at an orphanage in Ghana may have not been the benevolent experience I expected, but it ended up being a portal into the deaf community. I sat on my high horse as I entered the orphanage. As much as this trip was geared to help others, human nature’s sense of narcissism kicked in, and a small voice suffocated my brain saying , “I hope this makes me seem like a good person.” My lack of global awareness was astonishing when I arrived in Ghana, little did I know, a five minute interaction with a deaf Ghanaian man would alter my mindset completely.
In conclusion, all these three aspects: hurt the opportunity of the native, imposes a heavy financial burden, lead the increase of crime rate have apparently figured that the immigration has an adverse impact on the host country, and the natives. Even though the migrants who come from various countries may develop the cultural diversity, it will also decrease the trust between people. Therefore, I recommend the government of the host country should prevent the increasing of immigrants in order to solve the problem of
A big proportion of the people in this country think that the illegal immigrants bring more trouble than benefits. Nevertheless, it’s illogical to think that owing to the fact that this nation is founded and established by immigrants; the country works due to a tremendous quantity of intellectually gifted people who have migrated to this country to develop their skills and at the same time to help the country to have a greater diversity in culture and thinking. On this manner, we will see the benefits that the immigrants bring with their arrivals and analyze a solution to reduce the numbers of immigrants that bring trouble.

In todays American society it is not uncommon for their to be families broken up by divorce or other domestic disturbances. However, immigrants seem to have much more stronger family values. (Rocky Arcadi) For many immigrants, family comes first over everything; for many of them family is all they have. This is especially true of traditional developing societies. Many of these newcomers have strong traditions and beliefs wich are strict and are instilled in thier children. By immigrants comming to America with these type of beliefs and strong traditions it sets good examples for our western civilization. By receiving new cultures to our society it is a chance to absorb thier rules and respect they have for one another. This is ideal to help restore our family values.
