International human resources management is the process of overseeing persons who are working across international borders by international organisations. This department consists of managing people working internationally but also manages the expatriates. Definition of management according to Taylor (1903), is knowing exactly what you want people to do and then seeing that they do it in the most efficient and cheapest way. In reference to Griffin (1997) managing has the responsibility of successfully bringing together and synchronising numerous resources in order to reach an organisation’s aims and objectives. I will be discussing the main human resource factor issues in Nigeria, such as the reward system, productivity improvement, changing value of the employee, health and safety and training employees. A reward allocation in Nigeria is not usually based on merit or an employee’s good work or talents, but intends to be centrally controlled (Dugguh, 2007). This therefore generates confusion and irritation between employees. This matter crueler in private firms in which the management gain an advantage of ineffectual labour regulations and then pay their workers however much they want to. There is not a dependable legitimate figure on the amount of casualties in the organisations in Nigeria. The reason of this is that organisations are not keen on sharing this matter with the public, as they are worried they may be punished and given a bad reputation of not managing health and safety matters sufficiently and effectively, which therefore means they will need to reimburse the sufferers. Another matter is that employees in Nigeria are not aware of their rights of working in a safe work place and are liable to receive reimbursement as a result of physical or metal side effects of their
