As technology develops, and politics continues to evolve, it is extremely important for Canada to recognize that the world is now more globally connected than ever before. However, this connection can take affect on Canada whether it is positive or negative, which is why Canada should continue to engage itself in global politics and organizations. In order to protect Canadians well-being now and in the future, it is vital that Canada involves itself with outside politics about trade, security and environment. Global involvement in organizations about these three topics only makes Canada's economy, safety, and environment improve, therefore furthering the well-being of Canadians. Fortunately, those who were born in Canada have the luxury of being able to purchase affordable goods such as food, gas, furniture, medicine, etc. One of the main factors as to why these products are so affordable is because of our global involvement in trade agreements and contracts. As environmental issues becomes more globally prevalent, so does its impact on Canadian lives. Canada has already engaged itself in multiple international environmental organizations such as the Paris Climate Agreement, and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). These organizations main purpose is to prevent death, and destruction from environmental destructions and climate change. Thousands of people, including Canadians are susceptible to climate change effects such as “more frequent and intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans.” These effects leave Canadian and American cities at risk, which is why Canadians continue to recognize how things that happen outside our border, now can directly affect
