Worldstar sports Persuasive I think that they should ban court storming in sports. Court storming is when a top team losses to either a low ranked team or to thier rivals, when the underrated team wins thier fans jump over the barricade and rush on the court and end up lifting up the home team, the bad part about this is players can end up gettiing hurt or players could end up get agrivated at the fans for bumping into them, so at rare times a player will swing at the fan for pushing the player. People and groups are arguing towards the topic of court stroming,” fans pinned a coach in the corner and one of the fans elbowed a player” this is part of the problem with court storming, it is not only dangerous to other fans it can be dangerous twords players and …show more content…
coaches, and with the large amount of student fans on the court it can be hard to determine who the fan was who throw an elbow or harmed the player or a coach.
The sec confrence is one of the best conferences to stop the court storming, storming the court can lead to the coach being fined or suspended a few games. They also try to keep security guards at the sides of the court just to try to stop court stormings. Others argue that “stop complaning because the kids are just having fun” and others argue that it is just part of the school tradition to court storm when you are the underdog of the game. This can also happen in football and baseball, the most recent football storming was when the kansas football team beat the texas longhorns and the students became so barbaric that they stromed the firld and than fans began to jump on the feild goal post and tore it down and carried it out of the field. Two years ago the whasington state cougars got finned $25,000 dollars for storming the court and also this led to a report of a Usc player pushing over a cougar fan who happend to cross him after the court storm. This is also why court stormings are dangerous, they lead to fines and can also led brawls and fights, when a brawl broke out a player came out with a black eye and 4 players from each side were suspended for 6 games
just for fighting after a court storm. The ncaa could try the “closed door” policy like they do in soccor, with this policy, only friends, family and staff of the teams can be allowed to enter the game and watch, this can be a harsh and cruel punishment towards fans and the universities. I highley disagree with this policy, but court storming should be staged and be safe. It is nice for the kids and players to celebrate a hard fought game. It is part of the college basketball tradition about fans court storming, and was a tradition form the first days of college basketball. It also posses a threat to the scholarships of the players becuase if they get caught up in the action they could be suspended ruining part of thier scholarship, limiting the games played by the players, due to suspension for throwing punches or pushing or being involved with the brawl. When a player after the court storm was getting a after game interview was blindsidded by a fan and his leg got tangled around the wire and the player fell. Minnor things like this can maybe lead to a sprain anklle or maybe even a broken bone trying to safe yourself from falling hard.

Throughout the years there has been limitless legal cases presented to the court systems. All cases are not the same. Some cases vary from decisions that are made by a single judge, while other cases decisions are made by a jury. As cases are presented they typically start off as disputes, misunderstandings, or failure to comply among other things. It is possible to settle some cases outside of the courts, but that does require understanding and cooperation by all parties involved. However, for those that are not so willing to settle out of court, they eventually visit the court system. The court system is not in existence to cause humiliation for anyone, but more so to offer a helping hand from a legal prospective. At the same time, the legal system is not to be abuse. or misused either.
The jurors had several conflicts in disagreeing with each other and it didn't help that they would shout over one another. The very first conflict is when juror 8 voted not guilty against the 11 guilty votes. The other 11 jurors don't seem to want to hear this man out; they don't want to hear why he has voted not guilty. Some of these men, jurors 3 and 7, just want to get this case over with so they can get on with their lives. They don't think it is imperative enough to look over the evidence and put themselves in the place of the defendant. They get upset with this man and try to get him to vote guilty.

Nothing does more to tear our families apart than violent crime, guns, gangs, drugs, and the fear that walks alongside those terrors. Violent crime and victim rights have become a major concern for most citizens in the United States of America. Statistics indicate a decline in violent crimes in our country and an increase in our national prison population. Released prisoners commit most violent crimes. Gun control legislation, reform programs, victim rights awareness, and other programs are abundant in our country, but do little to alleviate violent crime. In this paper I will try to present the liberal and conservative views on this issue as well as my own views.

Throughout human history, violence, for the most part, has been a perpetual struggle we’ve faced. It does not discriminate against location, color, or creed, and it has an impact, lasting or not, on each of us at some point during our lives. Living in a Western country, many of us have become accustomed to the idea that true violence only lives in the ravaged lands of warring countries or the dilapidated streets of rundown neighborhoods, but in truth it can be found anywhere. Community center’s, schools, churches, and even the most secluded towns all encounter violence, though sometimes behind closed doors, everyone is vulnerable to it. But what prompts it to occur exactly? Violence itself stems from the causality of several different factors,
In the past, according to the online Wikipedia encyclopedia, the common law definition of burglary, was breaking and entering of the dwelling of another at night with an intent to commit a felony therein. In the present, according to criminal.findlaw.com, the modern common law definition of burglary, is typically defined as the unlawful entry into almost any structure (not just a home or business) with the intent to commit any crime inside (not just theft/larceny). No physical breaking and entering is required; the offender may simply trespass through an open door. The Criminal law hand book written by Paul Bergman and Sara Berman states that the law has changed because burglary laws were more rigid, and they required the government to prove that a defendant at night forced open a door, a window, or some other part of a building to gain entry before it was called burglary. Unlike the present, going into a building any time of the day without consent through an open window or an unlocked door constitutes a break and entry for purposes of almost all burglary statutes. Even a partial entry can constitute a burglary.
As aggression in the media increases, studies examining its effects on human behavior do as well. It is widely accepted that physical aggression is characterized by physical violence. On the other hand, social aggression is characterized by both verbal and nonverbal actions typically ranging from gossip and rumors to ignoring peers. While a plethora of studies have focused on physical aggression, there are some that indicate pertinent information relating to social aggression. One study conducted by Crick, Bigbee, and Howes, indicates that there is a higher prevalence of social aggression among females than males, while another conducted by Coyne and Archer found 92% of programs popular among adolescents aged 11-14 contained acts of social
When we are young, most of us are somewhat naive. We are inherently taught that
A person experiences violence regardless of his or her geographical location. Violence is catastrophic, toxic and dramatically impactful on a community. Violence is a product of misbehavior and lack of emotional outlets. People bring violence to the streets of Chicago because they believe that actions speak louder than words. People solve confrontation on the streets with the pull of a trigger rather than taking a minute to talk it out. Many Chicagoans have become numb to the headlines that read- “40 shot and 4 killed this weekend” or “She didn’t have a chance.” Chicagoans shake their heads and scoff, while saying “There goes another one.” How could traumatic events become ordinary? Community members continuously march for justice and peace in their neighborhoods while city officials create new programs and jobs to keep young
By the end of Dostoyesky’s Crime and Punishment, the reader is no longer under the illusion of the possible existence of “extraordinary” men. For an open-minded reader, and even perhaps the closed-minded ones too, the book is a journey through Raskolnikov’s proposed theory on crime. It is a theory based on the ideas that had “been printed and read a thousand times”(313) by both Hegel and Nietzsche. Hegel, a German philosopher, influenced Dostoyesky with his utilitarian emphasis on the ends rather than the means whereby a superman existed as one that stood above the ordinary man, but worked for the benefit of all mankind. Nietsche’s more selfish philosophy focused on the rights to power which allowed one to act in a Hegelian manner. In committing his crime, Raskolnikov experienced the ultimate punishment as he realized that his existence was not that of the “extraordinary” man presented in his theory. In chapter five of part three in Crime and Punishment, this theory is outlined by its creator, Raskolnikov. Such an innovative theory would clearly have placed him in the “extraordinary” category, but when he fails to meet its standards, by submitting to the common law through his confession, the theory crumbles right before the reader’s eyes.

For my field experience, I chose to attend a court case. On October 14th, 2015 I went to the District of Columbia court and watched a sentencing. It was not at all what I initially expected although after sitting in class for several weeks I was not shocked by it. What surprised me most was the informal, personal nature that the whole process had. The experience was interesting and I feel that I learned a lot from it.
Behaviorism is a classic psychology approach to understanding an organism's social and cognitive skills. This field of psychology focuses on observable behavior including measuring types of communication and natural mannerisms. It is important to understand how individuals present and express themselves in their natural environments in order to recognize and further advance knowledge about psychological disorders. When it comes to determining and labeling psychological disorders, especially behavioral disorders, it can be tricky to make the correct diagnosis. Psychologists have to assess all of the characteristics and symptoms an individual possesses and stick to textbook definitions when it comes to properly formulating a diagnosis.
