Amy’s Terrible Vacation Amy and her family go on a camping trip every year to the Temido' Valley River. Amy is the only one in her family that dreads going on the trip. The thought of riding in a van for 8 hours that is a hundred years old was not fun, especially with her juvenile brothers.Toby and Howard always had the worst luck when it came to camping. Even though Amy dreaded the camping trip, she loved to gloat about how no bad fortune ever came her way. Little did she know her brothers would have the bragging rights this year. As the family was loading up the van, Amy made sure to pack her bug spray. Amy was not very fond of bugs and she wasn't going to give in to the crawlers any time soon. They began driving to the camping site, but they had to be there before six o’clock that night. They left with much time to spare to make sure they were not late to the site. Although the journey was quite interesting for the family and did not go as planned. They hit a huge traffic jam, but luckily they arrived at the site at five fifty-nine that evening. Her mother would never let her go to the showers alone. She waited all day for her family to return, once they finally came back, her mother agreed to take her to the showers. Amy thought this would be the highlight of her weekend. Once they got to the showers, she saw a big sign with bold letters on all of the doors that said, “OUT OF ORDER!” Amy broke down and began to sob, demanding the trip be ended immediately. Her mother tried to reason with Amy but she wanted to go home, and her mother agreed and announced that they’d leave the next morning. Of course, the brothers begged to stay, but the crazy look in their sister's eyes was enough to make them agree to ending the trip
