Mathew Moody Barbra Jones English 1302 23 April 2014 Research Paper What is the Ideal Society? The world that we live in is a complicated place. There are many standards of living that make it hard for an individual to live life to the fullest. So many laws, rules and regulations are now being enforced that are supposed to protect us, when in reality they are wrapped around us like a force field keeping us trapped. Sometimes I wonder what life would be like if we could start over from scratch and build our society from the bottom up. Would people agree? Would people disagree? Would this be change be easy, and is there a way to make everything equal? There are so many questions when one is trying to create “The Ideal Society.” What would it be like if we could build it our way, after all we the people should not be prisoners of our own time. An ideal society would be a society where there is peace, liberty, and everyone is created equally (An Ideal Society). Since the beginning of society, there has never been complete world peace. From world wars, to street fights, conflict is always somewhere lurking amongst our society like a thief in the night. Crime is now at an all-time high. There are many crimes committed throughout the course of 24 hours. These crimes include simple theft, robbery, murder and many other charges. One way that there could be peace within an ideal society is when our people are free of negative traits such as jealousy, greed, and hatred. By wiping out these three things we would have a better chance at peace because in most cases when the peace is broken it mainly because of one of these main three reasons. Many face the reality that there can never be peace amongst society. They see that violence, greed, ... ... middle of paper ... ...u knew, but what you knew as it should be. In a ideal society there would be peace amongst everyone. There would be nothing but love, support, positivity from everyone. His would decrease crime and increase unity amongst society. However we do not live in an ideal society. The truth of the matter is that there is always going to be a group of people who declared themselves righteous above all others and if one was not a part of this group he or she was discriminated against simply for not being the same as the dominating group. There is always going to be those laws that keep us from making our own decisions, and racism is not going anywhere anytime soon. While it is impossible in reality to start from scratch and build a new and improved society, in an ideal world several changes could be implemented to enhance life for every individual (Creating an Ideal Society)
Two hundred and twenty five years ago, a document was added to our constitution granting us five ideals. This document was called the Bill of Rights, which granted us the basic rights of opportunity, liberty, equality, democracy and rights. Since the Bill of Rights was added, not all of the ideals have been obeyed consistently. Liberty, rights, and democracy have been followed well throughout the years, but opportunity and equality have fluctuated. Although the constitution and bill of rights says every american should be granted with these ideals, some americans simply did not make that so.
Imagine a place where everything is perfect. There is a place where there is no warfare, where all. All politics, laws, customs, and traditions are respected. A place where there is sameness among all the citizens and everyone is content and happy. This place would be considered a utopia.
Moral idealism is not only focusing on the happiness of your people but the happiness of other countries that the policy is being made for and even trying countries at peace with each other instead of going to war to solve problems. Though the goal for Moral Idealism is not easily achieved there have been many attempts to prevent wars, like the Peace corps, and the league of nation. The people are satisfied within countries the less likely a war would happen whether a Civil war, or a National
Aldous Huxley famously once said in his novel, Brave New World, that there is “No social stability, without individual stability.” This ideology is specifically true in society’s lives today, as in order for us to work together in a community, we must first satisfy all of our individual needs. Humans are all innately selfish and self-centred and when our lives are on the line we will think more about ourselves than our neighbours and peers. A community of people is a mixture of people from different backgrounds and cultures who hold a multitude of different ideologies and beliefs. In order for a community to retain its stability and thus its health and harmony, the stability of each of its individual members must be fulfilled. A person’s independent security can only obtain stability through an abundance of a variety of resources at their disposal, a set of rules or laws and people who enforce them, and a community that they feel they belong in and share the same ideological beliefs. Without these basic needs, an
We must define what is important and what is crucial to our way of life. All the groups and acts that differ from the ideal society must be met with aggressive force. Not outright rejection, but certainly not outright acceptance and surrender of past ideals. Social deviance can be an advantage, but only if people remember their morals and become objectively selfless can our society truly benefit.

This constitution made by the people, for the people, declares the necessary laws required to maintain a perfect utopian society. Unlike our previous society, there will be many opportunities to help our society thrive. Everyone will have rights that were not present in previous societies. Unlike other civilizations and empires, the goal of this utopia is not to create a era of peace and advancement. The goal of this Utopia is to keep peace, prosperity, enlightenment, and a “Renaissance” going on forever.
When Adolf Hitler was put in as Chancellor in 1933, he started to begin the program of the NSDAP, the National Socialist German Labor Party. The highest priorities were to put all men back to work and to increase the birthrate. Both were accomplished by re-instituting the traditional roles of men and women. Within the next 10 years, most women were won over to National Socialism, content to do their part in the great national resurgence.
Each person has their own vision of utopia. Utopia means an ideal state, a paradise, a land of enchantment. It has been a central part of the history of ideas in Western Civilization. Philosophers and writers continue to imagine and conceive plans for an ideal state even today. They use models of ideal government to express their ideas on contemporary issues and political conditions. Man has never of comparing the real and ideal, actuality and dream, and the stark facts of human condition and hypothetical versions of optimum life and government.
The purpose of this essay will be to discuss whether human nature is good, or evil, or both good and evil, or neither good nor evil. To facilitate the following discussion, human nature here would be defined as the distinguishing characteristics we born with, that we tend to have naturally without the influence of external factors. The definition agrees to Xunzi’s, that nature is what is given by Heaven: one cannot learn it; one cannot acquire it by effort. This essay will explain that the deepest essence of human nature is self-preservation and reproduction, which cannot be truly classified into good or evil. It is followed by how we are diverged to behave goodly or badly, argument against the “good nature theory” and different between self-preservation with greed and aggression.
There are many social problems plaguing the world, including the issue of aging inequality and elders. This social problem is significant because the baby boomers of the 1946-64s are now starting to be the youngest old. Our society is starting to, and needs to, change to accommodate the needs of the elderly. There are many different problems coming with this making people have many political viewpoints, theoretical perspectives, and solutions for this social problem. Baby boomers are a group of people that were born between the years of 1946 and 1964. Just nine months after WW II ended people were having babies at rates higher than ever before. In the year 1946 there were 3.4 million babies were born, nearly 20% more than the prior year. This
...ple is affected by the laws and lifestyles that they follow. Many dislike the idea of change, and reject any new ideas that could alter their societies norm. Civil rights, homosexual relationships, and religious beliefs are three prime examples of how society has been changed over the course of time. Rousseau contradicted himself, stating that religion keeps the peace, however the most bloody battles in history have been over religious beliefs. Change will be adapted to one way or another, even if the morality of the people is set on two different sides. Time, politics, and war will depict the present and the future of society as a whole.
