How much a lie can affect us?
By definition lie means: A lie is a false statement to a person or group made by another person or group who knows it is not the whole truth, intentionally (2).
A lie it’s compound by two characters; the person who tells the lie and the person who believes on the lie without knowing. It creates a fantasy environment in which the person who believes in it creates their present and needs around it, while the person who tells the lie keeps creating an imaginary world in order to be able to keep it.
How much can a lie hurt or last? I believe that it will always depend of the reason of the lie and from the person that it comes from. A lie can hurt sometimes the feelings of people who believe in that lie also it breaks the trust between those individuals. A lie can be as painful as a stab in the heart; it brings out feelings such as pain, deception, horror to mention some of them.
In the other hand a lie can save a life, prevent pain, suffering and even can bring hope in some cases. It’s somehow contradictory the way that a lie can change someone for good or for bad, depends on the circumstances that forces the individual to lie.
Some people are forced to lie about their religion, sexual preferences, politics and even on their personal lives too. By this I don’t justifying all the lies but I do understand that sometimes there are things that we might not be able to accept or believe therefore they are forced to lie. We are living in the 21st century and till today like it or not we live on a world full of lies. There are people who are faithful to their traditions or beliefs those are who I called old school people. I believe that until we have a better way understand and respect others we will ...

Hopefully one day we could live in a world where we could able to tolerate more, where we could live respecting others preferences, and social, economic, sexual, religion, etc.; where all humans will be treat the same without exceptions, where slavery wont not be only based on physical aspect but also mentally. So next time we fall in a lie, we should analyze first why does that lie exist? Who is telling us that lie? How much has it hurt us? And finally how much damage caused to our surroundings?
Therefore with this I believe that lying it not as bad as we have been told, we as human being we were not created perfect , we were created to make mistakes to learn from them , to make the best of them . We will fall and then we will rise with pride to become a better person
