Many consider traveling as the perfect therapy for everything. It relieves stress and it is also a way of a soul reborn. However, traveling can be also educative in several ways such as, knowing cultural differences, acquiring the skill of critical thinking and it changes a person’s perspective towards everything. The Christian theologian and the philosopher Saint Augustine once said: “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” The word traveling is always related to cultures and their differences. Knowing the cultural differences through traveling is both an engaging and a unique way of learning about cultures. The way of thinking always changes whenever there is a shift in the current atmosphere that a person lives in ( it does not matter whether it is a minor or a major shift). Traveling in this case can be a way of changing the patterns of how a person uses his/her brain. In another words, instead of being a person with a shallow way of thinking, by traveling the brain and the way of thinking will be totally different. The brain will be coloured with all different shades of information, it is a way of adapting and acquiring the skill of critical thinking at all times, from meeting new people to the way how you interact with people who are close to you whether family members or friends. This is acquired by looking at the lives of other in the different spots in this world that we live in. traveling to a 3rd world country or a developed country will force to see everything from the shoes. This educative way will carve in your mind that you’re not the only one that is struggling, your struggles may seem very silly to others who do not have a proper shelter, or to those who can’t afford being educated due political problems that their race perhaps have a conflict with. Traveling changes a person’s perspective and helps with being able to comprehend with whatever a person may deal with in life, whether it is a person or a problem. The result of the changing the way of we see things is a sign of maturity in general, and by traveling it is assured that a person has accomplished one of the many life objectives or goals that he/she set in their lives.
