INTRODUCTION
“People cry not because they are weak. It is because they have been strong for too long.”(Johnny Depp)
Crying is often thought as an ordinary emotional expression. Most of people do not ponder crying as an act of curing. Surprisingly, many researches had approved that there are various benefits as a result of giving out tears.
According to New Oxford English-English-Malay Dictionary, cry is a verb which is to make noise and produce tears in your eyes. When referring to Mosby’s Pocket Dictionary of Medicine, Nursing and Health Professions, cry is defined as a sudden, loud voluntary or automatic vocalization in response to pain, fear or a startle reflex. It is also described as weeping, as a reaction or an emotional response to depression or grief.
Crying is producing tears. In physiology, tears are secreted by lacrimal gland in lacrimal apparatus. There are a series of ducts that carry tears into the nasal cavity. The gland is located in the orbit and secretes tears continuously. The tears exit through tiny tubules and flow downward and medially across the eye. Two small ducts (the superior and inferior canaliculi) collect tears, which flow into the lacrimal sac, located in a deep grooved of the lacrimal bone, and then into the nasolacrimal duct, which empties into the nasal cavity. Secretion by lacrimal gland moistens and lubricates the surface of the eye and the lining of the lids. Tears have lysozyme which is an enzyme that kills bacteria, reducing the risk of eye infections.
Everyone cries no matter whether young or elderly, female or male, a follower or even a leader. Blind people also experiences in having tears. After giving birth, physician will pat on back of the baby until the he cries. It is a part of test t...

...pents to Allah and fear to Him. As stated in hadith:
Ibn A’bbas reported:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah S.A.W saying: “Two eyes will never be touched by the fire of Hell; an eye which weeps out of fear of Allah and an eye which spends the night in guarding in the cause of Allah.” (At-Tirmidhi)
The prophet also said: “If through fear of (dipleasing) God, tears - even the size of a fly’s head – fall from any beliver’s eyes and drop on some part of his cheek, he will be kept away from Hell by God.” (At-Tirmidhi, hadith 1433)
In a nutshell, crying helps people to keep in healthy condition and get blessing from Allah. Without crying, people actually will be weak as there is no turning point of emotion. Human is very unique in nature that they are the only creatures that sobbing and weeping the tears. All praises to Lord, the Most Gracious and Merciful.

Emotionally the infant will need love, warmth & care. The baby will need to feel safe and have healthy emotion responses. When the baby is hungry or tired, they cry to express themselves.
Often frustrated parents or other persons responsible for a child’s care feel that shaking a baby is a harmless way to make a child stop crying. The number one reason why a baby is shaken is because of inconsolable crying. (National Exchange Club Foundation, 1998) An infant may spend two to three hours a day crying. (The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida) A caregiver momentarily gives in to the frustration of responding to a crying baby by shaking. Caregivers may be inadequately prepared for children.

As young boys, they were told, "big boys don't cry." That is what they live by, never showing emotion. When the time comes for men to show their emotions, they either do not know how or let it build up inside us. This leads to alcoholism, other addictions, and early death. When a loved one dies that is close to a certain man, he begins to act strange; doing things out of the norm. Although different men respond in different ways, they all have the same symptoms. For example, "I suffered, I grieved, I broke down, and I cooked fabulous meals for those who came to comfort me" (Anderson 203). This shows that he suffered and grieved but did not show it in the common way. He expresses his pain through cooking for the ones that came to mourn with him. Another example, "There is one place her absence come locally home to me, and it is a place I can't avoid. I mean my own body…Now its like an empty house…I know the thing I want is exactly the thing I can never get" (Lewis 23). This shows a man's love for his wife, but he doesn't share with his buddies, he writes his loss in a book, this is how he expresses his loss.
Even when he tried to stay optimistic, fear and anxiety set in often in Schwartz’s mind. He experienced fear and anxiety related to impending death. Worries of missing out on his son growing up and not experiencing romantic moments with his wife ever again filled him with both terror and grief. He expressed this fear to his psychiatrist and his concern that he might be depressed. Dr Cassem assured him that crying was a sign of acknowledgment of his love for his family. He also worried if there was anything he could do t...
“Nobody heard him, the dead man, / but still he lay moaning:” This is how many people go on through life. Many are dying inside but you would never know. It is possible for people to create masks to hide their emotions. Sometimes these masks are so deceptive that even close friends or family members cannot see through then until it is too late. In Stevie Smith’s poem, “Not Waving but Drowning” the writer effectively highlights how someone’s cry for help can be mistaken for joy. It is important for people to at least have someone who cares about them and knows them well enough to see when something is going wrong in their lives. This can often be the lifeline that saves one from drowning.

.oh, sorry, I was starting to repeat myself there. Anyway, people cry. And just like there's a bunch of different types of laughter (we'll talk more about that later, I'm on a roll now), people cry at all different kinds of stuff. Obviously, there's the sad crying, which I won't get into at length. I mean it's depressing to talk about crying associated with deaths of loved ones, break-ups with your "significant others" (insert that annoying quote thing that people make with their hands here), witnessing hardship like the starvation in Somalia or that ethnic fighting in Bosnia.
Human beings have the remarkable capability to express more emotions and expressions more so than any other mammal. We can communicate to other human beings in a clear and concise way that makes it easy for others to follow the message that was spoken. Humans can voice their own emotions so other humans can respond to various needs of others. Like a mother hearing the cry of her child, the mother will know to tend to the child without question. This is the beauty of human communication and why humans have a need to help others, it is basic instinct. When a mother hears the cry of a child, it may not even be her own child, the brain starts firing on all cylinders. Suddenly, a rush of Epinephrine and dopamine rush into the bloodstream, an almost
Do animals feel joy, love, fear, anguish or despair? What ere emotions, and perhaps more importantly, how do scientists prove animals are capable of emotion? Sea lion mothers have often been seen wailing painfully and squealing eerily as they watch their babies being eaten by killer whales. Buffaloes have also been observed sliding playfully across ice, excitedly screaming “Gwaaa.” Emotions are defined broadly as psychological phenomena that help in behavioral management and control. This is a challenging question to researchers who are trying to determine the answer to this question. Through current research by close observation combined with neurobiological research, evidence that animals exhibit fear, joy happiness, shame, embarrassment, resentment, jealousy, rage, anger, love, pleasure, compassion, respect, relief, disgust, sadness, despair, and grief is likely. Charles Darwin said, “The lower animals, like man, manifestly feel pleasure and pain, happiness, and misery.” I agree with Darwin. I believe animals do exhibit emotions, and denying that animals have emotions because the subject cannot be studied directly is not a reasonable explanation.
The silent killer that takes lives without warning, punishment, or any sympathy; depression is truly one of the most prominent mental illnesses in the world. Depression is defined as a mental illness inducing a severe and staunch feeling of sadness. The term depressed is coined in English as a temporary sadness that everyone experiences in their life. Despite that depression is more active in women, it is still one of the most common mental illnesses in the world. It affects anybody, regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic standing. Regardless of all these facts, surprisingly little is known about depression, however, scientists have been able to hypothesize major causes, effects, and treatments for the disability affecting over
Mayer and Salovey (2001) maintained that emotions help prioritise, decide, anticipate and plan one’s actions. In order to effectively manage one’s emotions, one must first learn to identify and recognise them accurately. They should not neglect their emotions as this will reflect lack of self-awareness. For example, when someone lost their loved ones, they choose to be in a state of denial allowing themselves to be drowned in depression and sickness. They refused to get away from feeling negative and find solutions to overcome their emotions. These group of people face difficulties in recognising, identifying and managing their emotions.
This reflected light passes through the lens and falls on to the retina of the eye. Here, the light induces nerve impulses that travel through the optic nerve to the brain, where it makes an image of the object, and then that image is passed on to muscles and glands. The eye is well protected. It lies within a bony socket of the skull. The eyelids guard it in front. They blink an average of once every six seconds. This washes the eye with the salty secretion from the tear, or lachrymal, glands.
