Pulling up to the park, Joe jumps out of the car and starts looking around. "Rachel?" He yells, quickly surveying the deserted playground. He started walking down the hill when Jerry called out to him. "Hey boss, I found her cell by the bird feeder. There's a cup of seed spilled by it too. Oh, my god, there's blood on the phone cover." "Get a search party out here now!" He orders. "Didn't patrol just say they saw a black van leave the park? The same van used in Emma's attempted kidnapping." "Oh my god, the killer's abducted, Rachel." ***** Rachel's lying quietly in the van still trying to figure out what to do when the killer swerves onto a rugged dirt road. "They won't be able to find me now,"' he laughs, hanging a sharp right. Various items …show more content…
started shifting across the van's floor. Hearing the commotion behind him, he glances in the review mirror. "That's one way to clean house," he laughs, glancing back to the rugged path. Slowly opening her eyes, she began inventorying the items that had recently moved her way. "This isn't going to help me," she thinks. Turning her head towards the back of the van she began scanning through that new selection. "Oh, but you will," she smiles. ***** Bonnie and Jeanie frantically paced back and forth, waiting for a call. Emma's trying to keep herself busy tidying up the kitchen. "I wish he'd call and let us know something," Jeanie says. "Maybe I should call and find out if he has her." Hearing a knock at the door the three dash to it. “Rachel!” They exclaim, throwing the door open. All the see is a young man holding a small cardboard box. Disappointed Jeanie and Emma turn back around. "I have a package for Max Webb." The man solemnly states, taken aback by his strange greeting. "Thank you." Taking the box out of his hands, Bonnie closes the door. "I was hoping it was them." "Me too, Bonnie.” “ I don't remember Max mentioning a shipment today. Eyeing the strange looking package she continues. “He had so much on his mind I bet he forgot." She concludes plopping it down on the dining room table. She starts walking towards the front room. When she hears a car pull up in the driveway the three runs to the window. "It's only Max," Jennie states, letting the curtain fall back into place. “Maybe Rachel’s with him.” Bonnie pulls the curtain back open. Seeing it was just her husband she lets the curtain fall back down. 'I'm sure they're on their way right now." Emma adds reassuringly. "I sure hope so." "Honey, I'm home," Max announces walking in the door. Bonnie rushes to him. "Oh honey, you'll never believe what our daughter did today." "What did Rachel do now?" Bonnie looks at him with a puzzled expression on her face. "How did you...oh, never mind. She climbed out of her bedroom window." "She what!" "She climbed out the window. Joe traced her phone and he believes she's at the park. He said he'll bring her home Max, but that's been almost an hour ago." "I bet he's sitting at the park yelling at her right now." "I sure hope so," she says, as she starts pacing again. "Your shipment came a few minutes ago. I put it on the table for you." "I didn't order anything." Rushing over to the table, he picks up the small cardboard box. "Hmm, that's strange." "What is, honey?" "I don't see a return address. I don't see a postal code on it either." "All I know is some gentleman knocked on the door and said he had a package for you." "Now I think about it Bonnie, I don't remember seeing his delivery truck." "I didn't either. Did you Emma?" "No, and he wasn't wearing a uniform either." "I'm going to take it outside until Joe gets here. Let him decide what we should do with it." "Be careful, Max." Bonnie warns. "I will." Slowly lifting up the box he cautiously carries it outside. "I need to get it as far away from the house as I possibly can." He thinks heading towards the woods. He'd just made it past the storm shelter when he hears a loud ticking noise coming from inside of the container. "Oh my god it's a bomb!" He yells. ***** Joe frantically searched the entire park, hoping they were wrong. Discovered the area was completely deserted, he runs up the hill to meet his partner. "I need for you to inform the officers in pursuit of the van that we believe he's holding Rachel hostage and send the unit to the park, thanks." Hanging up his phone Jerry turns to his partner. "I already told dispatch to advise the officers that Rachel might be in the van. A crime scene unit, and the canines on the way now." "Thanks, bud," "Maybe she wandered into one of the stores." "I’ve already checked, Jerry. "A friend could have given her a ride home." "I thought about that too, but if I call and she's not there, everyone will panic.” "I'll call them." "They'll know it's you, Jerry. "Not if I disguise my voice, boss," he says in a deep throaty tone. Taking the phone out of his partner's hands, he redials the last incoming call. "They'll recognize the number if you call from my phone." "I blocked it from showing up on their caller ID.". "Hello, this's Randy, Rachel's neighbor, can I talk to her, please. Ok, thank you." Hanging up, he hands the cell to his partner. "She isn't home, boss." ***** Reaching out, Rachel tries to grab the tall slender object that was lying just a few feet away. No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't quite get hold of it. She started inching her way closer, as she continued to watch the driver. Hearing something rattle underneath her, she quickly closes her eyes. He takes a quick glance in the rearview mirror. "I need to get her to the cabin before she wakes up," he concludes, looking back towards the road.
After a few minutes, she slowly opens her eyes. Seeing the coast was clear, she tries moving again. "I should be able to grab it now," she thinks, trying to reach across the other tools. Seeing that she's still too far away, she scoots a little closer. "Damn cops are still on my ass!" He yells, slamming his free hand against the steering wheel. Hearing his voice she freezes. A few minutes later she tries reaching for the object again. "I'm almost there," she thinks, stretching her arm out as far as it would go. "This should take care of them," he laughs, makes a hard left. Rachel helplessly watches as the gun whizzes past her. ***** Detectives, I wanted to inform you the blood you found on the phone case isn't the detectives, it's our perp, and it's dried, so I'd say it's been there for some time." "I bet it was from this morning, boss." "Maybe, but it still doesn't prove she's safe." "Sir, the dogs picked up her scent at the bird seed and followed it to the parking lot, but lost it there." "He does have her. The son of a bitch did kidnap Rachel!" Joe yells. "We don't know that for sure, …show more content…
boss." "Jerry's right, she could've called and had one of her friends pick her up." Kirk quickly adds. "He has her, I know he does," Joe yells, storming towards his car. ***** Carefully positioning the small box in his hands, Max tosses it in the wood. The parcel explodes into thousands of pieces as it crashes against the side of a small sapling. Glancing up, he sees the sky darken as hundreds of tiny birds fly from the tops of the trees. . "Sorry guys," he yells, watching the feathered creatures hover over their demolished home. Turning around, he sees Bonnie running towards him. "Oh Max, I'm so glad you're alright," she cries, wrapping her arms around him. "I'm fine, but I'm not too sure about our feathery friends," he says, pointing towards the sky. They see what looks to be hundreds of birds circling around the dense forest. "What was the loud noise?" "The box exploded when it hit a tree. I'm so glad you guys didn't open it," he says, hugging her. "I'm glad you came home when you did otherwise we all could've been blown to smithereens." "I'm going to call Joe and let him know what happened." "Ask about our troublesome daughter too." "This is Max Webb I'd like to speak to Joe please." "I'm sorry sir, he's out in the field right now. If you'd like to leave your number I'll have him return your call." "My name's Max Webb and he has my number. Tell him it's an emergency and he needs to call me back immediately." "Do you need police assistance, sir?" "I need a bomb squad. A box of explosives was sent to my house." "Hold on sir, I'll transfer you." "EOD." My name is Max Webb and we received a box that had a bomb in it a few minutes ago." "Where's the package now, sir?" "Scattered all over the woods." "Was anyone injured?" "No." "What's the address?" "County road 4156. I live in the last house on the road." "Someone will be out there shortly. In the meantime, I need everyone to stay as far away from the debris as possible." "We will and could you let Joe know what happened?" "I sure will, sir." He and Bonnie were walking to the house when his cell rang. "Hello?" "I heard what happened. Is everyone alright?" Joe quickly asks. "Yes, we're fine. I tossed the box out in the woods before it exploded. The bomb unit's coming out now." "Good. How did this all begin?" "My wife said a guy came to the door and gave her a package. When I started to open it, I noticed it didn't have any type of postal markings or a return address. So I took it outside, just to be safe. That's when I heard the ticking. I threw it in the woods and it exploded." "When the EOD team gets there, tell your wife to give them a description of the delivery driver and the truck." "No one remembers seeing the truck." "Jeanie and Emma saw him?" "I believe so." "Tell them to give the officers a description too." "Joe, Joe?" He'd already disconnected the call.
"You forgot to ask about Rachel." Bonnie says. He hung up before I had the chance. I'm sure he would've told us if something was wrong, honey." "Yeah, you're probably right. ***** The driver makes a quick right, then a left. She tries to grab the gun as it continues to slide back and forth beside her. Suddenly the van went completely dark. "Where are we?" Rachel tries to look out of the windows, but it was too dark to see anything. Slamming on his breaks, the driver quickly turns off the engine. "Now's my chance." She thinks, anxiously fumbling around for the gun. "Hey, what's going on back there?" Jumping up from his seat, the drive stomps towards the back of the van. Rachel swings the thin metal piece around smacking the side of his leg. He tumbles over top of her. Pushing him away, she springs to her feet. “No one hurts my sister and gets away with it! She yells, lifting the metal bar over her head. He grabs a hold of the metal piece as it’s coming towards him. Lifting up his legs he pushes her as hard as he can. She stumbles backwards over the tools. “Now to take care of you once and for all.” He says, springing to his
feet. ***** Joe and Jerry race across town lights and sirens blaring. “Don’t worry Joe we’ll find her. “I just hope we’re not to late.” "Rachel is a smart, she knows how to handle herself, boss." "I hope you're right, Jerry." 'She did alright all the other times she faced a perp, didn't she?" "Yeah, but this guy's twice her size and with her head injury, I'm not sure she's strong enough to fight him off." "We're talking about the same detective, right?" The one who single handily took down two serial killers." Remembering the incident, Joe laughs. "I believe you should worry more about the killer's well-being than hers, boss." "You're probably right about that, Jerry. He chuckles speeding around another sharp curve. ***** Rachel started to lift the metal pipe up over her head when the van’s side door slides open Rachel quickly swings around. “No one hurts my son! He spat, lifting the gun up from his side. No! Rachel yells, jumping out of the way. “You won’t get away from me this time, Bitch! Bruno yells, aiming for her head. Hearing a loud pop, Rachel turns towards her attacker. She sees his short, thick body tumble to the ground. Suddenly a familiar face pops up in the door. “Next time make sure I’m dead! Randy yells, squeezing the trigger. *** They shouldn’t be to far away now.” Joe says, giving the car a little more gas. “I see them boss.” Jerry exclaims pointing up ahead. “It looks like they’re headed to the old railroad station.” “Reported shots fired in the railroad tunnel. The dispatcher announces over the radio. “Hold on Jerry!” Joe yells stomping on the accelerator. Throwing his seatbelt on, Jerry grabs the dash board and hangs on for dear life. *** She's assessing the kidnapper when she hears two male voices outside the van. "We have you completely surrounded so come out with your hands up." Walking over to the side of the van, she holds her hands out of the door. "Step out nice and slow." "It's me, Detective Webb. She screams, stepping onto the ground. Glancing around, she sees four police cars had surrounded the van. Off in the corner she sees Randy trying to explain what had just happened. I don’t know if I can explain what happened myself. "Detective Webb?" Jeff asks, shining the light on her. "The second perp's lying unconscious in the van." She informs them, stepping over Bruno’s body, **** "Look who’s walking towards us." Jerry says, as they pull up to the scene. Jumping out of the car Joe runs over to her. "Where in the hell have you been, young lady?" Joe questions. "I've been out catching our murder." She laughs, pointing to the uniformed officers behind her. ."Didn't I tell you she can take care of herself, boss?" Jerry laughs. "Since I caught the last killer by myself, I think you two should fill out the paperwork. By the way Joe, I was right about the killer being Tito's twin. Yep, I was right and you're wrong, again. That's how many Jerry?" She looks over at Jerry. He's smiling ear to ear. "Oh yeah, three, count it three in a row." She replies in a sassy tone, holding up three fingers close her bosses face. "Maybe one day you'll listen to me." She finishes, walking towards their cruiser. Joe looks over at Jerry shaking his head. "I think I’ve created a monster." “I think so boss.” Jerry laughs, following behind her.
"I'm heading out to make an arrest." He replied, his tone carried a slight hint of Incertitude as to the motive of this inquiry.
“Thank you, sir. I just don’t understand what’s happening, this seems so surreal...Mr. Morris, Where is Lizzie?”

If I were her I would be too scared to steal a vehicle. In society these days stealing a vehicle is a huge crime and can be punished severely for. Even if you were to be kidnapped you will still serve some punishment. Clearly this character did not care about that, as she got in the truck and drove off really fast. She had to get out of there as soon as possible. She had avoided the main roads, but still she had not a clue of knowing where she is going. She kept on driving trying to figure out where to go and who to trust. She had a couple of options, she could go to a hospital for her hand or she could go to the police and have them figure it out before it gets worse. She realized that she still had the man's phone and can use a GPS. She decided to go to the police to get this figured out before anything else happens. This scene to me, is very unrealistic because if I, and i am sure anybody else, were to be in that situation, I would not doubt where to go. The police is used to stop these kind of things. If she were to go to the hospital, and the killer found her there she would be screwed. However, she did finally use common sense and used the man's phone during that she found the nearest police station, Newberry Ranch. She had gotten there and ran into the building before anyone saw her. There was a man in a uniform reading a magazine at the front desk. As she ran up there and said that she needed help
"No guns though, even they could not be trusted with guns. Guns were for the guards…"
She told him again that she could not and rolled her window up and drove away.
“What’s with these freaking lights,” he mumbles, ducking erratically as the bullets slash past him striking everything. To the edge of the road, he runs tumbling into a ditch where Michelle is waiting.
The front end of the station wagon disintegrated upon impact, sending pieces of debris all over the highway. Alex and Angela’s parents were both thrown into the dashboard and windshield as the engine block raced at them with equal force. As the girls braced during the impact, they were both thrown forward, but were quickly arrested by their seatbelts. They screamed as the car careened and then skidded to a stop somewhere in the nearby farmer’s field, parts of the vehicle’s now twisted metal frame and blown out tires working as an impromptu brake to halt the vehicle.
As a consequence, they were immediately chased after by a group of police officers. They ran towards their car, only to find it getting towed by a tow truck. Panicked and desperate, they decided to steal an

Danielle asked muddled. Jeremy has no idea why and how the car was creeping to a complete stop. Jeremy gently got out of the car to investigate. He lurked under the car and under the hood.
The pick-up bounced jarringly down the old dirt road. The driver sat up straight in the front seat, checking over her shoulder every few seconds to make sure that her cargo hadn't fallen out.
“Correct. Grey has them on each of his vehicles and Mrs. Grey wants the ability to track where he is.”
She frantically got up to call security when we pulled out our ID’s and with a blush she sat back down. “My apologizes, usually only workers are allowed entry to the bodies. I'm detective Adam Sinclair and this is my partner, detective Piper White," Adam informed with a comforting smile.
