Elvis Presley Biography

Elvis Presley A.K.A ¨The king of rock and roll¨ or simply ¨The king¨.Born in Tupelo,Mississippi .His parents were Vernon and Gladys Presley .Elvis and his family moved to Memphis,Tennessee and then became a big success.He also got into the army and meet his wife priscilla presley.

His full name is Elvis Aaron Presley ,Elvis after his father Vernon Elvis Presley, and Aaron from Vernon’s good friend Aaron Kennedy. Elvis's was supposed to be a twin but his brother Jesse Garon Presley was stillborn. Elvis was born on January 8,1935 in his hometown Tupelo,Mississippi . The time was 4:35 a.m. when ¨The king¨ was born. His mother Gladys Presley did not give birth to him in a hospital but in a two room house that his father and brother built together,now a museum today.

Elvis Presley and his parents were people of little money. They worked in many odd jobs to get by, but work hard to give the best to their only child ,that is the center of their lives.Elvis attends assembly of god with his family.Elvis grew up with gospel music of the pentecostal church.That was when music entered his life.

He entered the talent show in 5th grade at a fair;he was ten at the time.He wore a cowboy suit and stood on chair to reach microphone.He won second place .He won $5 prize and A free pass for all the rides.On the following january he received a guitar for his 11th birthday.Then was given basic guitar lessons from his uncle.

His father got a job thats the reason they moved to memphis.Elvis later on enrolled to L.C. Humes high school.He then graduated from humes high school.He was 18 by then. ...er their first meeting Elvis and Priscilla were married. They had a daughter named Lisa presley.Their daughter is now a songwriter and singer.She is the E-X wife of Michael jackson.

Elvis Presley had died in a disgusting way.He was 42 at the time of death. He had been on the toilet, but fallen off onto the floor, where he lay in a pool of his own vomit. They had thought the cause of the death was cardiac arrhythmia.But later it was found that physicians Dr. Jerry T. Francisco, Dr. Eric Muirhead and Dr. Noel Florredo had covered up the real cause of death, a cocktail of ten prescribed drugs, taken in doses no doctor would prescribe.

The date was August 16,1977 in memphis,tennessee when “The king of Rock and roll” died.He was an inspiration to many of his fans.He affected many people in many ways.He will always be remembered in a positive way.No can forget “The King”.
