What is it like to live a life with Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)? Narcissism is a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy. People with this disorder can be vindictive, selfish, cunning person. They do not care who is harmed or hurt. Abigail was the leader of all of the girls that were seen dancing and calling on evil spirits. Abigail would threaten the girls by saying if they said anything, she would kill or harm them severely. She wanted what she couldn’t have, so that made her psychologically unstable. Abigail William’s would be convicted in today’s court because she gave many threats to kill the girls who were with her the night they were dancing if they spoke up in court, her behavior caused harm to many even though she may not have physically done damage herself and due to previous court cases, some people diagnosed with Narcissism were found innocent due to their mental instability but others were guilty because they were mentally unstable. As it is shown, Narcissistic Personality Disorder causes her to be selfish, arrogant, dangerous, and obsess over the man she could not have, because Abigail threatened the girls she was with the night they were dancing, to not confess to anything in court.
Her lasting career was not given to her easily, therefore, creating an inspiring story full of hardships and success. She was invited to return back to London to pursue her education in the performing arts, so that she could further improve her talents that would make up her entire career.
Ella Josephine Baker was born in Virginia, and at the age of seven Ella Baker moved with her family to Littleton, South Carolina, where they settled on her grandparent's farmland her grandparents had worked as slaves. Ella Baker's early life was steeped in Southern black culture. Her most vivid childhood memories were of the strong traditions of self-help, mutual cooperation, and sharing of economic resources that encompassed her entire community. Because there was no local secondary school, in 1918, when Ella was fifteen years old, her parents sent her to Shaw boarding school in Raleigh, the high school academy of Shaw University. Ella excelled academically at Shaw, graduating as valedictorian of her college class from Shaw University in Raleigh in 1927.
Ella Baker was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1903. She always had strong opinions, and “followed her own mind”. However, she was influenced by her grandmother growing up, and this contributed to her sense of social justice and racism. Her grandmother, who had once been a slave, told her granddaughter stories of her own years in slavery. Her grandmother had been whipped for refusing to marry a man picked by her slave owner (SNCC). This story and others like it inspired Baker throughout her life, and led to many of the incredible things she did. Ella and her parents moved to Littleton, North Carolina when she was eight. Sadly, her father stayed behind for his job. The public schools for black children during this time were not sufficient. Her parents wanted to send her and her brother and sister to boarding schools. They both worked hard to acquire this. Finally, when Baker turned fifteen she was sent to Shaw University, in North Carolina (SNCC). Being the bright, intelligent student that she was, she had excellent grades, and was top in her class. She expressed an interest in being a medical missionary, but this would not have been realistic. After graduating in 1927 as valedictorian, Baker headed to New York City (Richman). She was quite brilliant and hoped to find some opportunities in New York that would help her do something worthwhile with her life.
Information about Ella Fitzgerald prior to her singing career remains quite ambiguous. There are no written autobiographies, memoirs and not much evidence of her childhood written down. Unlike Louis Armstrong, she did not want to make her past known to her public because she was ashamed by of the poverty and struggle she faced before her fame. Only interviews with childhood friends, family and of musicians who knew her off the stage are what are left to help reveal a more in depth look into her life.
She was able to overcome many difficulties and was confident she would get where she wanted to go. Although Ella is no longer alive, her music is still alive in many people's hearts.
She has gained the trust of their parents by knowingly doing what is right for their children, while also instilling knowledge and life lessons as she watches over them with love. Another example would be her passion for dance. She has been dancing since she was three years old, and grew up dancing for a local dance company. Staying committed to the company, she never left, but stayed through her entire dance career. Ms. Baker competed in many competitions and won trophies for herself and also her dance company. She knew that if she performed at her best it would represent not only herself, but her family and who taught her. It attracted many young children who wished to dance when they saw that she performed in a graceful manner and was extremely poised. After reaching the age in which she was too old to compete, she returned to the dance facility as an instructor and teaching assistant. She could not break the bond in which she had built with the association. While doing many extracurricular activities, Ms. Baker attend Rockingham Early College High School where she has maintained excellent grades to represent herself not only well rounded, but academically. The rigor of the college level courses did not stop her from pursuing

Going to the University of Shaffer top rank music school, who started in the lowest part of the band group wasn’t stopping Andrew from achieving his goals. One major goal was to be known as the best drummer, and be playing in the JVC jazz musical, and getting spotted by Fletcher the teacher who was also a great musician himself. Andrew would practice on the daily basis in his dorm were he would make sure he would hit every note as it read. Sweat, tears would go into the drum during his practices just to be notice by Fletcher, who finally notices him playing well on the drums. Fletcher tells Andrew to show him how to play a couple swings, so he can know what his about. After teasing Andrew, fletcher goes to the lower band class to give the students a chance to move up to his jazz band, which he shows his ego. Andrew gets invited to go to practice next morning at 6am when class usually at a later time, he waited to show his skills on the drums, Andrew waited for the class to begin for more than 6 hours to have the opportunity to show his skills on the drums. Fletcher would test Andrews skills by yelling at him seeing if he was patient enough to take responsibilities, and see how he can handle being yelled at while playing drums testing his focus. This would make Andrew cry, only push himself more to learn all the songs, memorize all the songs so he wouldn’t have to look at the music notes. After days of breaking sweats in the dorm, skin on his fingers, and almost giving up he manages to learn every song. After showing up to practice they had a performance and fletcher was very hard on never to lose your music folder, because you will never play and you would be disrespecting him. Andrew being a backup drummer who would turn the pages would carry the folder, and while grabbing
After all of the madness and drama, that was happening day, after day, everyone was not in the right place. However, throughout the problems Anna goes through,we can somewhat see glimpses of the importance of art to her. “There is a reason why paintings are better than photos. Nora was walking down the street she lived on, just outside of Marshalltown Iowa, not able to think of what instrument she wanted to play in her music class. Feminism. It seems to be the only “f” word that adolescent boys won’t say nowadays. For many self-proclaimed feminists, action begins and ends with sharing a post on Facebook or donating to a local charity. However, Emma Watson, who managed to bring together the seemingly incompatible E! Online and UN Women with her powerful words, has rejected this notion and used her illustrious name and personality to illuminate the issue of gender equality and change the way feminists are viewed on an international level. Between capturing the world with her witty portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series and graduating from Brown University with a major in english literature, Emma Watson has relabeled what it means to be a feminist and fought for gender equality, while maintaining her reputation as one of Hollywood’s most respected actresses and models.
