There so little that we know of the stars which are in the heavens which have their own story to tell.
The Bible declares the heavens declare the glory of G-d.
Jacob had train his children to read the signs in the heavens.
Benjamin when asked by Joseph to look at the map of the stars pertaining to Egypt, Benjamin was well able to know that his brother
Joseph was sitting right next to him.
All the story of redemption and the salvation of mankind is written in the heavens. The witness of the stars begins with Virgo. This group of stars clearly shows that a virgin young woman would bring a Redeemer to earth. This was fulfill in the Messiah of Israel (Jesus) that came and shed his blood on Calvary for all mankind

The G-d we serve intends for us to look for him. He will be found as a Scripture say when we search for him with all our hearts.
Brothers are Reunited
1 And when Judah saw the dealings of Joseph with them, Judah approached him and broke open the door, and came with his brethren before Joseph. 2 And Judah said unto Joseph, Let it not seem grievous in the sight of my lord, may thy servant I pray thee speak a word before thee? and Joseph said unto him, Speak. 3 And Judah spoke before Joseph, and his brethren were there standing before them; and Judah said unto Joseph, Surely when we first came to our lord to buy food, thou didst consider us as spies of the land, and we brought Benjamin before thee, and thou still makest sport of us this day. 4 Now therefore let the king hear my words, and send I pray thee our brother that he may go along with us to our father, lest thy soul perish this day with all the souls of the inhabit¬ants of Egypt. 5 Dost thou not know what two of my brethren, Simeon and Levi, did unto the city of Shechem, and unto seven cities of the Amorites, on account of our sister Dinah, and also what they would do for the sake of their brother
passage was "..and you will know my name is the Lord, when I lay my vengeance
...e Biblical story weighs heavily on Joseph’s divine dream interpreting ability and the story it provides, focusing on the theme of God caring for His people and fulfilling his divine plan. The Qur’an appreciates this but sees it as a means to the end of the spread of faith to non-believers. The Christian and Jewish version of Joseph’s trials serves a greater literary purpose than the Qur’an’s version, advancing belief by showing God’s abilities and the way they may be manifested in others in order to fulfill his divine plan. However, the Qur’an expands upon the Biblical version by including additional plot points and explicitly portraying Joseph’s goals and how they align with Islamic theology. The accounts differ in functionality, but both are crucial to the holistic understanding of the story of Joseph and some of the fundamental differences between the religions.
They got a meager meal of a ration of bread and some water to drink. I like how Levi described meal time as “the distribution of the holy grey slab which seems gigantic in your neighbor’s hand, and in your own hand so small as to make you cry,” which was of course referring to the small peice of bread ...
Today we have new technology that allows us to do many incredible things. One of those things is the ability to calculate the stars, where they will go and where they have been. Most know of the star of Bethlehem and how it symbolizes the birth of Jesus. The star of Bethlehem marks the birth of Jesus but what about when Jesus was conceived, did the sky show any signs then? Yes, in Revelation 12:1 it states “A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.” What does that have to do with the conception of Jesus? Well, if you take our new technology you can go back and see exactly what happened that night. That night Jupiter came into close conjunction with Regulas then turned around (retrograde motion)and passed Regulas two more times. Jupiter for centuries has been known as the king planet and Regulus in the Roman culture is called Rex which means king. Regulus is part of the constellation Leo the Lion. The constellation following Leo the Lion was Virgo, the virgin, and the sun was passing through her – a woman clothed in the sun . And the moon was close to the foot of the...
When Moses was born, the Israelites were oppressed by the Egyptian Pharaoh and bound to a harsh life of labor, taking part in building some of the great public works of Egypt such as the pyramids, fortresses, and installations to regulate the flow of the Nile River. For fear that the Israelite population would continue to increase, the Pharaoh insisted that every male Hebrew child would be killed at birth. Ironically, during this oppressive period, Moses, the “future deliverer of Israel”, was born. To protect his life, his mother sent him down the Nile in a specially woven ark. He was found by the Pharaoh’s daughter who took him in and, to add to the irony, she hired his mother to be his foster nurse.
The conflict in the story is that Joseph brothers were very jealous of him. Jacob catered to Joseph more than his other children, which made them jealous. It is ironic that even though Joseph brothers tried to prevent him from his divine purpose it was still accomplished. When Joseph filled his divine purpose and his brothers came to the city for food, he did not treat them any differently. Joseph invited them into the city and feed his family.
The spies went during the time of the first grape harvest, and brought back a branch with "one cluster of grapes" (Numbers, Ch.13, Line 23), together with some pomegranates and figs. They tell Moses that the land is rich, and the walls of the towns are unfortified. However, while Joshua and Caleb argue that the land is abundant and is "floweth with milk and honey" (Numbers, Ch.13, Line 27), the other spies say that strong and evil men inhabit it, which causes the Israelites to want to return to Egypt. The Lord talks to Moses and says he will kill all the Israelites. Moses pleads with God, saying that others would think badly of God for leading his people to the wilderness and abandoning them there.

Every day we look into the night sky, wondering and dreaming what lies beyond our galaxy. Within our galaxy alone, there are millions upon millions of stars. This may be why it interests us to learn about all that we cannot see. Humans have known the existence of stars since they have had eyes, and see them as white glowing specks in the sky. The mystery lies beyond the white glowing specks we see but, in the things we cannot see in the night sky such as black holes.
And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel; and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?
The movie production, ‘The Prince of Egypt’ is quite inaccurate when contrasted to the story of Moses in the Bible. The motion picture was created in 1998 by DreamWorks™ Pictures, about Moses, the prophet, growing up, and leading the Israelites out of Egypt. The animation and the biblical narrative vary between each other in many ways. The three main areas where the differences are shown clearly is in the location, the characters, and the storyline. Consequently, the video production is not accurate in contrast to the story of Exodus.
11 That was the end of my covenant with them. Those who bought and sold sheep were watching me, and they knew that the LORD was speaking to them through my actions. 12 And I said to them, "If you like, give me my wages, whatever I am worth; but only if you want to." So they counted out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
Judah decides to take them to see Jesus Christ in an effort to heal them. Ironically enough, Judah had meet Jesus once before when he first became a slave. Jesus gave him water when it was forbidden to do so by the Romans. That water saved his life. Unfortunately, Jesus Christ’s crucifixion had already begun.
One Greek myth story based on the stars is The Pleiades. This story is about Atlas’ 7 daughters; Electra, Maia, Taygete, Alcyone, Merope, Celaeno, and Sterope. Orion was always chasing after them and they were always running away. Zeus put them in the stars, in an attempt to save them from Orion, “But it was said that even there orion continued his pursuit , always unsuccessful, yet persistent,” (Mythology 439). This story refers to the origin of a particular constellation. It also explains why the stars move across the sky in a specific direction. Another story that helps explain something in the stars is Callisto. In this tail, Zeus sees a wolf lady and he falls in love with her. Hera gets upset and turns her into a bear so her son will kill her, “But Zeus snatched the bear away and placed her among the stars, where she is called Great Bear,” (Mythology 429). This was also used to explain where the, “Great Bear,” constellation came from. These and many other beautiful constellations with really interesting stories can still be seen
