The famous Ed Sheeran is a Grammy-winning singer and songwriter known for the hit song Shape of You. The song was released on January 28, 2017 breaking the record for Most Weeks in Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10. “Shape of You” very subtly speaks about a random hook up, but Ed Sheeran is doing more than just mirroring that approach to love. He believes having an emotional bonding process can lead into a lasting-love relationship - rather than a train wreck of regret. Many today argue about how relationships often lead to a physical intimacy, then perhaps contributing an emotional kind. The video stars Ed Sheeran as a boxer who falls in love with another boxer, played by actor and dancer Jennie Pegouskie at the Tiger's Eye Boxing Gym in Seattle. …show more content…
The “handmade” is a reference that they are “meant” to be together and stating that her love is towards someone like him. He continues, “Come on now, follow my lead / I may be crazy, don’t mind me / Say, boy, let’s not talk too much / Grab on my waist and put that body on me / Come on now, follow my lead / Come, come on now, follow my lead.” In this verse, Sheeran is stating that he wants her to enjoy the moment they are having together. From Sheeran’s perspective, he sings the main chorus of the song, “I’m in love with the shape of you / We push and pull like a magnet do / Although my heart is falling too / I’m in love with your body.” He describes this one moment with her and begins to feel this physical attraction to her body that he never experienced before. He compares his attraction to this girl like magnetic forces meaning magnets push and pull each other causing an opposite direction. All Sheeran could think about is falling in love but this time it's with her for …show more content…
So after making romance, in the second verse of “Shape of You,” Sheeran continues to sing, “One week in we let the story begin / We’re going out on our first date / You and me are thrifty, so go all you can eat / Fill up your bag and I fill up a plate.” They are expanding their relationship deeper by going out on date. Being thrifty is a reference to having things in common, like they are eating at a buffet so they can eat a lot of cheap food for little money. They began to talk for “hours and hours about the sweet and the sour / and how your family is doing okay.” This is a reference about their pros and cons about their lives and spends some time talking about her family if they are doing well. Once they finished eating and talking, they “leave, and get in a taxi, then kiss in the backseat / Tell the driver make the radio play, and I’m singling like. The couple get handsy in the taxi and the radio provides a distraction to cover up the kissing

The song is a romantic ballad which fits the video. “Thinking out loud” is played in d major which is played on the guitar. The play of the guitar gives it an authentic feel that persuades the audience that he is loving. Sheeran in addition uses the instruments violin, and piano. The song is in mid-tempo range with the song having high points and low points. In the high points in the song Sheeran vocally over powers the instruments. In addition the ballad and instruments go together and fit the message.
These poetic devices not only help develop the imagery that Sheeran utilizes, but also gives deeper importance and meaning to the language. With the line, “Her face seems / Slowly sinking, wasting” and simile “Crumbling like pastries,” the listener visualizes a person whose deep, dark circles under her tired weary eyes grow darker each day as she weakens. A person whose whole life is deteriorating around her, and whom spends torturing nights in bed with unknown men just so she can afford to live. Not only does Sheeran reveal them to the hardships may women in the world have to go through but he also asks listeners to feel the emotions they feel and to empathize with them.

Falling in love can be frightening, even terrifying, when it is new to someone. This could be the authors’ way of describing love in all its brutality and the moment she shares with us is being completely lost in a moment. Maybe it’s a one-night stand, or maybe it’s all about falling in love for the first time. Love is truly undefined and kindles different emotions in every human being. Either way she arrives at one final conclusion: she loves the love she feels for him in the end. Her aftermath of merely being in love in that moment erases all of the bad emotions that took her to that point. For some this is truth, for others the universe is not kind.

The movie opens just as it ends, the camera pans down to the pavement revealing a sign outside the Barbizon Plaza Theater: “An Evening with Jake LaMotta Tonight 8:30.” The film then cuts to a punched out overweight shot of LaMotta babbling a barely coherent rhyming rant mixing Shakespeare with the infernal jabber of an half illiterate has been boxer. Quickly the scene shifts from backstage of a nightclub to a close up of a younger LaMotta receiving repeated jabs to the face. The bold white title card “Jake La Motta 1941” jumps out against the stark grey images of the match. LaMotta between rounds sits in the corner surrounded by his trainer, manager and cut man giving the impression of lion tamers antagonizing a corned animal by telling him he is “out pointed” and “You’re gonna have to knock him out.” When the fight continues LaMotta crouches like a coiled snake boring his way into a barrage of punches only to explode in a flurry of flashbulbs sending his opponent to the canvas. With a bombardment of hard stuck lefts, LaMotta sends Jimmy Reeves on a return trip to the mat. Again, in the final round a bloody pulverized Reeves lies pinned to the floor only to be saved by the bell after the count reaches nine. LaMotta then proceeds to strut around the ring proudly wearing a leopard skin robe with hands held high w...
However, the film plays with the idea of lust and love. Caleb is not in love with Ava, but he believes that he is. The reason Caleb is confused is because lust and love are very similar emotions and are easy to get confused. The film makes it obvious that Caleb has feeling of lust toward Ava by just the way Caleb watches Ava. Caleb’s lust is also brought up through conversations with Nathan.
He’s a well known Musician and Lyricist around the globe, but he’s mainly known for his top selling albums and songs, ranging from his first album produced in 2011, “+” containing his first ever hit single “The A Team”. His most recent albums include “X” (2014) and his current hit album “Divide” which contains his number one single that made it to number one on the Billboard Top 100, “Shape of You”. Ed Sheeran describes this song as a “straightforward” type of song, as the lyrics are based about him falling for a Woman’s body which quickly escalated from the moment they met at a bar. It’s a typical meet at the bar, and end up waking up together kind of song as we can all hear within this song. But in an interview with ‘popsugar.com.au’ he stated that this song wasn’t meant to be on the album (but we are glad it is) and he actually wrote it for the R&B artist Rihanna, but decided that he was going to sing it.
Game of Thrones is a popular TV show that originated from the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. Game of Thrones is set in a medieval world filled with magic, warriors, power hungry families and an occasional dragon. Game of Thrones is not a light easygoing show; it is a very graphic show, with a rich plot that you have to see from the beginning to understand what is going on. I would not suggest this show to anyone that is easily offended or is not interested in making the long-term commitment to it. Though if you love long dramatic TV shows filled with great adventures and some mystery, then this show is for you.
