For my writing assignment I will be writing about smoking cigarettes, compared to vaping, also known as E-Cigarettes. A cigarette is a small cylinder stick of cut tobacco leaves rolled in thin paper for smoking. The cigarette is lit up at one end causing the cigarette to smolder and then allowing smoke to be inhaled from the other end, which is held in or to the mouth. A cigarette contains nicotine, which is very addictive. Nicotine is absorbed into the bloodstream through the lining of the mouth and the lungs and then travels to the brain. Taking more frequent and deeper puffs of tobacco smoke increases the amount of nicotine absorbed by the body. Even the people who do not smoke in public places are selfish. They do not consider the affect smoking might have on them and how that will affect their family and the environment.
