How Dr Peter Nicolino Overcame False Accusations in the Classroom
Male educators are going through a rough phase in the present-day classroom, not on account by their students but by the pressure exerted on them by their colleagues. What disheartens and disappoints the average individual and even causes fear is the fact that male teachers are falsely suspected or accused of inappropriate behaviour toward female colleagues and students.
One such distinct case is the accusation levelled against Dr Peter Nicolino, who is an educator par excellence with tremendous expertise and years of experience at hand. He is the holder of a two permanent certificates as a

We can learn a lot from overcoming false accusations in the classroom by Peter Nicolino. The hearing with regard to his moral character was held in Albany, New York. The evidence was largely hearsay, and the alleged victims did not appear at the hearing, thus proving that the allegations were blatant lies.
Throughout his extensive career as a school administrator, Dr Peter Nicolino was known to be caring, respectful, and kind toward all his students, colleagues, and community members. Despite his name being cleared of all charges, the mental scars remain, which can prove to be de-motivating and demoralizing.
However, standing tall and strong and having a clear conscience is the way to move forward. Additionally, one needs an excellent support network to get up and going.

This case revolves around James keegstra who was an Alberta high school teacher. He was accused of intentionally promoting hatred against an unidentifiable group of the society through his teachings. He would teach his students about numerous evil qualities of Jews describing them as “treacherous”, “money loving”, “sadistic”
This case involves a sophomore at a high school named Christine Franklin, who alleged that she was sexually harassed and abused by a teacher and sports coach by the name of Andrew Hill. These allegations were occurring from 1986-1988, a total of two years. These allegations included Hill having explicit conversations with Franklin, forcing her to kiss him, and forceful intercourse on school grounds. Franklin claimed that she let teachers and administrators know about the harassment and that other students were going through the same harassment. The result of telling the teachers and administrators was that nothing was done about the situation and even encouraged Franklin not
In the article Who is a Teacher, the author made a factual claim about two correlated theories; that students are permitted too much influence over their instructors, and that influence affects female professors to a greater degree than their male counterparts. The article was written from the perspective of the author’s experience as a female professor at the University of Georgia as well as the accounts of her colleagues. The article listed numerous examples of inappropriate behavior, which would not be tolerated in many other circumstances.
Statutory rape law in particular is discriminating to boys and very patronizing to girls, throughout my research I have found many studies where women teachers and coaches getting away with being involved with their students ranging from anywhere
This morning, jurors in the case viewed the girl's videotaped interview with police. During the interview, which lasted about 90 minutes, the girl detailed the alleged incidents with Groves. Yesterday, jurors heard from her in person.
Mann believed that the best people to teach were females. Females, he argued, contained a nurturing instinct that is needed in order to teach students. I vehemently disagree. In order to be a good teacher, being passionate is the key to success. It is imperative that you love what you do and that passion will seep into your work. Whether you are a man or a woman, it is important to love your job and you can see just how much the world will change because of that. Mann’s theory of transmission does not apply in today’s society. There are many male teachers that are excellent and have left a strong and positive outlook on students. While men are still outnumbered in this field, it does not mean it is due to a lack of competency. It merely means that although we have come far, we still have a long way to go in breaking down gender roles and
This vacuum of trust was fixed when both Erin and Jamie put their trust in their students. When the students realized that both teachers trusted their abilities and their attributes, the disciplinary problems started to wane. In ...
The first teacher that I observed with my group was Mr. Leonhardt at Streams Elementary School. While I was there, I was able to observe him teach two classes of fourth graders, two classes of third graders, and one class of second graders. One of the most valuable things that I have learned from observing him, is that there are male teachers who are very successful in the area of teaching. He was able to keep control over his all of his classes because he set specific guidelines and rules that he wanted them to follow. He left very little time between lessons so that they would not lose their focus, and get distracted. He was also very
When looking into a criminal event as serious as presented with teacher sex scandals, it is very important to identify the reasons why this crime is taking place and set into motion a plan of action to eliminate other potential perpetrators. The labeling theory suggests that the crime of female teacher sex scandals may have taken place because either the “public” has labeled her role to be provocative or seductive, inappropriately, or that her role as the teacher, has been labeled that way in that position. Often, teachers take on sort of a motherly roll. These children spends endless amount of hours with their teacher and begin to develop relationships, it is natural. However, there are times that the teacher may test that relationship or
Many students justify their behavior, because of the many examples of unethical behavior in society. For example, in May of 2003, readers of the New York Times were shocked to discover that a reporter, Jayson Blair, was fabricating details and plagiarizing in his articles. The media attention attributed to the Blair affair included a front-page article in the New York Times on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2003 (Barry, 2003).
Same sex classes make it possible for teachers to cater to student needs in a more efficient way. In general boys benefit from hands on learning, but girls benefit from calm discussions (Mullins 3). Girls tend to doubt themselves while boys think they can do anything. Boys need to be brought down from the clouds while girls need to be dug out of a hole (Mullins 3). David Chadwell says, "Structure and connection are two key concepts when examining gender in the classroom. All students certainly need both, but it seems that teachers need to consider the issue of structure more with boys and the issue of connection more with girls" (7), and Kristen Stanberry’s research has shown, "Some research indicates that girls learn better when classroom temperature is warm, while boys perform better in cooler classrooms. If that's true, then the temperature in a single-sex classroom could be set to optimize the learning of either male or female students" (1). These observations further support the idea that same sex classrooms can cater to student’s...
Windy Sizemore Post 1 Being an educator, it is important to understand the roles of gender in the educational setting. Pollack (2002) specifies three myths and truths common to male gender. I was struck with the realization of how prevalent and tainted these common myths are as I read: Boys will be boys, Boys should be boys, and Boys are toxic.
...appy. With the difference in gender, both a male and female teachers' exposure to society's youth is critical, and male teachers are just as important as females in the educational field.
Jimmy was a short and a big headed kid. He was very smart and had brown hair. One day, he was walking in the long and narrow hallway between his classes with, his autographed football and work books in his hand, when his friend Sheen approached him. Sheen was Jimmy’s best friend. He was tall and had black hair. Sheen was considered by Jimmy, to be slow in the head. “Where’s our next class?” Jimmy asked.
Older more aged literature usually is far superior to new less seasoned literature. Many readers may not see it this way because of how the older literature was written. The way readers are supposed to interpret that piece of literature isn’t always the way it is interpreted. The School for Scandal’s use of sophisticated humor makes it harder for modern readers to enjoy it.
