On 04/28/2018 at approximately 1300, AST received a 911 hang-up from 266 Dorm Room Rd. AST was dispatched and responded to the scene. Upon arrival Trooper Buyse and I located and approached the residence. I waited to the right of the front door, after listening for about 30 seconds I knocked on the door and announced my presence, saying “State Troopers”. At that time, I could hear arguing from inside the residence. I knocked again, said “State Troopers, open up.” I received no answer. I then drew my handgun to guard and opened the door saying, “State Troopers, don’t move!”. After entering the room, I observed that there was no immediate threat and I holstered my handgun. However, I did observe that it appeared that items had been thrown around …show more content…
the room- such as a trashcan and chair had been tipped over and footlockers had been moved into the middle of the room. I then noticed two females inside the room. One subject was sitting in a chair, later identified as Aubrey Escobar DOB 08/26/1966. The other subject was sitting on a bed at the other side of the room, identified as Myrtle Lynn Brazell, DOB 05/22/1987. Trooper Buyse and I then separated the two subjects. I took Ms. Escobar out into the front entryway of the apartment and Trooper Buyse interviewed Ms. Brazell while she sat on a bed located on the other side of the room away from the door. After proceeding out onto the front entryway, I began interviewing Ms.
Escobar. It was apparent that she was suffering from back pain, I asked her if the pain had been a preexisting condition before tonight and if she needed medical attention. She said that she had always had back pain and that she did not want medical attention. I then ID’ed Ms. Escobar, dispatch confirmed she did not have any warrants. I then proceeded to ask Ms. Escobar if either her or Ms. Brazell had called 911, she denied that either of them had attempted to reach 911. I then asked her how she and Ms. Brazell knew each other, she explained that they have been roommates for the last 3 years. I asked if they had been any arguing tonight and she confirmed they had been arguing and that the argument was about Ms. Brazell not paying her portion of the rent. Ms. Escobar explained that she had finally had enough of it and lost her temper. I asked if the argument got physical at any point, she then said, “No” and that she just tipped over a chair and that it had not hit Ms. Brazell. I asked if arguments like this occurred in the past, she explained that this was the first time this had happened. I asked if Ms. Brazell had been hurt during the incident, she then confirmed again that she had not been hurt during the
incident. Trooper Buyse signaled to me that he wanted to talk, so I asked Ms. Escobar to remain by the door and went over to talk with Trooper Buyse away from both subjects. He provided me with a story from Ms. Brazell, which was similar to the story given to me by Ms. Escobar. Trooper Buyse confirmed that he did find any sign of physical injury. He did confirm that Ms. Brazell stated that she felt safe living with Ms. Escobar. Trooper Buyse informed me that Ms. Brazell decided to go and stay with her uncle for the night to let the situation calm down. Trooper Buyse provided Ms. Brazell with transportation to her uncle’s house and I left the scene. No domestic violence was identified and no injuries were found, as a result, no crimes were determined and no one was arrested.
Bermudez told me the purse did not belong to her. I asked Bermudez what was the can she dropped and she said, “I was drinking. The can belongs to me.” I asked Bermudez if there is anything illegal inside of the purse that I needed to know about and she said, “No.” I told Bermudez to sit in the backseat of my vehicle and she complied. I approached and grabbed the salmon colored purse I saw Bermudez drop. Laying on the ground next to the salmon colored purse was 1 24oz Black Berry Steel Reserve Alcoholic beverage (half full). I grabbed both of the items and returned to the hood of my vehicle. I searched the purse and found several large blue trash bags inside. I searched the trash bags and found 1 used methamphetamine pipe. I asked Bermudez if the methamphetamine pipe belonged to her and she said, “No.” I asked Bermudez if she uses any drugs and she said, “No. I found that

Last week, Katera was taken into temporary custody and later released to Centerstone of Illinois. The B/M continued to attempt to strike me and I clenched on to him an attempt to protect myself, while preventing him from escaping. As I was holding onto the B/M I was unable to reach my radio to request additional units. Officer D. Peal (9003) arrived on scene and assisted me in attempting to place the B/M into handcuffs. The B/M continued to ignore lawful commands and refused to place his hands behind his back after being given several lawful commands. I delivered a strike to the B/M’s midsection in an attempt to gain compliance, however the strike did not appear to have an effect. The B/M continued to ignore lawful commands and I warned him I was going to deploy chemical spray. The B/M continued to resist and would not comply, in response I provided another warning and then deployed a three to five second burst of my department issued MK-2 OC chemical spray to the B/M’s face. After the chemical spray was deployed, he was placed in handcuffs without further incident. The B/M was identified by his Florida driver’s license Emanuel

Everyone has their own, personal place to have alone time and clear their heads. For me, that place is my bedroom in my apartment. My room is the one place where I feel most nostalgic and comfortable; its’ a comfort that can’t be replaced. My bedroom is my favorite room in my apartment because I always have my privacy there, and I feel like it shows my personal style, which I love.
The evaluation form that was used to evaluate a classroom teacher’s performance is a rubric used by the school district (Hillsborough County Public Schools, 2012).
The school that I visited was new. It was the first year of the school opening. The school board had combined two schools into one, so the students had to adjust to their new environments and new individuals. They seemed to be getting along well with each other. Since the school is new the teacher has to adjust to new problems that araise. Times for the subjects and times for using the computer labs change. So the teacher must always be fixable for anything. In this observation of this classroom I learned about the enjoyment of teaching. How you have to adapt to each of the students.
One group of architects hired me for a few sessions of life modelling. They were a friendly bunch. One evening it was frosty; My body has an odd thermostat it did not require heat; one of the artists resorted to wrapping a scarf around himself then his coat. It normally is the other way around.
I attended a second grade class at Smallville Elementary on February 22, 2014; the class began promptly at 0855. There are 26 children in this second grade class. There are 15 male students and 11 female students. The student diversity is 2 Hispanics, 1 African-American, 1 East Indian, and 1 New Zealander (White but with an extreme accent). Three children were left-handed.
The students that I observed in the classroom were of middle to high school. I went to see 8th, freshman, 10th , and seniors classes, they seemed excited and very curious to why I was there. The middle school was more alive and rambunctious while I observed them. The High school kids were more relaxed, more comical. Some were paying attention while others seemed tuned out to the lecture or involved in socialization with friends within the class. By the end of the class Mr. Hasgil had restored the attention of everyone by using tactics such as history jeopardy with candy as the prize with the high school kids. In both he middle school and high school the kids were mostly Caucasian with a mixture of black, Asian , and Hispanic in the classes.
For my observation experience I went to Southern High School in Harwood, MD. Southern High School has a special education department for the students with disabilities. The teacher that I met with for this classroom observation was Ms. West. In the classroom there were at least four assistant teachers that helped Ms. West throughout the school day. The assistant teachers helped Ms. West co- teach the class and were there to help the students if they needed extra help. The school also has a couple of student aides that come in to help the teachers and the students in the classroom. There were at least twelve students in the classroom. The students in the class had many different exceptionalities such as learning disabilities, Down syndrome,
