In the midst of one of the most controversial presidential elections in history, both political parties are struggling to prove that their candidate is the best choice. Clinton and Trump’s disapproval ratings are very low, but one has to ask, is there really a lesser evil to choose from? While Clinton has had her own fair share of past discrepancies, Trump’s track record proves much more troublesome. Donald Trump has proven to be an untrustworthy presidential candidate because of his misogynistic actions, his racial bias, and his corrupt business history.
Donald Trump is a successful businessman who has accomplished more than most people could ever dream of. He started in the real estate business and has his own university, appeared on a T.V. show, is a billionaire, has many golf resorts, and is the president of the United States. He is criticized for many of his comments and political views. Some of these views are him wanting to build a wall to protect the United States from illegal immigrants and drugs, wanting to replace The Affordable Care Act, and banning people from Muslim countries to keep out terrorists. Although Donald Trump is often viewed as a controversial figure, he benefitted the United States of America by improving and creating jobs, proving that non-establishment politicians can still win the presidency, and by making America safer.
I am 50 years old a Republican. Growing up I remember Sundays the stores were closed and that was extended family time, we would have family bbq or family reunions on Saturday with no one having to leave earlier because of the work the next day, I loved that. There was so much more respect and family values then, what happen? Computers and cell phones. I have two sons now in their twenties I allowed them to have laptops and cell phones as teens, but I put limits on it, I was not going to allow them to grow up not having family values, when we have our holiday parties cell phones are shut off. Now I know people are going to disagree with me but the truth is I have seen it with my sons friends growing up, friends coming over on Christmas
It is not a stretch to say that Trump is a bigot” (Blow). His use of parallel structure combined with quick-fire shots against Trump, highlights Blow’s averse tone which bolsters his argument. Moreover, Blow describes the fraudulent politicians and citizens who support Trump’s actions by showing them “it doesn’t matter how much you say that you’re an egalitarian, how much you say that you are race blind, how much you say that you are only interested in people’s policies and not their racist polemics (Blow). Blow’s use of parallel structure was effective in pointing out how Trump’s supporters are delusional if they believe that Trump isn’t racist. Blow’s averse tone is being clearly presented as he describes the supporters of Trump which makes the readers lean more toward his claim. In addition to, Blow also uses diction to describe the “venom coursing through [Trump] convictions” (Blow). This powerful statement created by

Is Donald Trump a populist? The term “populist” has been repeatedly applied to president Donald Trump. To determine whether President Trump is a populist, we first must look at what exactly populism is. Merriam-Webster dictionary defines populism as a member of a political party that claims to represent the common person (“Populist”). However, the dictionary definition of populism can’t fully define populism. Nearly any perceivable grassroot movement can be seen as populist. Occupy Wall Street is an excellent example of a populist movement. The Occupy movement was us, the 99% versus them, the 1% of Americans who are wealthier.

No one will ever know the real answer to who the worst president in United States history is, but there is a fair amount of evidence and facts to back up some bold points.
