Many people use mothballs for different reasons. Mothballs are helpful for many different causes, but health risks are also associated with mothballs. Using mothballs can repel moths and make things smell great, but can also cause hemolytic anemia. Mothballs are helpful in many ways, but there is one factor in mothballs, Naphthalene, that can cause health issues.
Mothballs have many features that are beneficial to people. One feature of mothballs is keeping a house or building free of pest. Mothballs change from solids to gas at room temperature (Willert, n.d.). This gas is a toxic gas that kills moths and other insects (NPIC,2011). This toxic gas or fumes build up in a closed container and kills clothes moths inside. When enough fumes build up and moth or other insects digest the fumes the moths or other insects are then killed because the fumes are toxic (NPIC,2011). Mothballs also can cover up smells of other unpleasant smells from the fumes given off. Mothballs are a powerful deodorizer with fumes that kill insects, but these fumes can also be harmful to humans.
Mothballs are helpful in the correct circumstances, but if in incorrect circumstances can become harmful. Mothballs contain mostly Naphthalene, but also have traces of Paradichlorobenzene (Matheson TRI.GAS, 2008). Naphthalene is a solid which means the chemical has a definite shape and volume. At normal temperatures and pressures; Naphthalene has a stable reactivity (Matheson TRI.GAS, 2008). This means Naphthalene will not react at normal temperatures and pressure, but if shown to heat or flames Naphthalene will become more reactive. On the fire scale, Naphthalene is ranked 2 out of 4 (Matheson TRI.GAS, 2008). This means Naphthalene is mildly flammable. Naphthal...

Humans are trying everything they can to trap the Gypsy moth and try to remove it from there eco-system, but the Gypsy moth keeps on reproducing. An annual trapping program is one method in which they place traps that attracts male Gypsy moths and gets them stuck in a sticky surface. If a substantial amount of moths are caught by the trap then more traps are set in that ecosystem. Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki (BTK) is a toxic soil bacterium that is sprayed over an area to prevent defoliation. When Gypsy moths are exposed to BTK the toxic causes stomach poisoning and they would eventually die. (Government of Canada,

There's nothing worse than when someone goes to the toilet and leaves their utter stench of last nights meal behind them. Then, it always happens, they think they can make it all better by spraying some air freshener. Instead of making things better, they get worse. The air condition goes from unbearable to lethal. When the stench particles combine with the air freshener, it makes a deadly mask that seems to forever hang. Even napalm gas is better than this.

Have you ever wondered what happens when you inhale the liquid from a vape? Many people that vape think it's a better alternative than smoking and actual cigarette, or they think it's safer than cigarettes. Vaping actually has many dangers that come with it, like it can cause the body to become weaker in fighting infections, scar the lungs, or can blow up in your face. And though it might be way safer than real cigarettes, there are many things in those vapes that can cause health dangers in the body. Though it's still early in the vape life, many researches have been done to prove of these dangerous things that can cause harm to the inside and outside of the body.

...eggs from infected people and affect almost 2 billion people around the world especially in crowded, underdeveloped and poor-sanitation place like African countries, China, Central and south America, South East Asia causing abdominal discomfort, with diarrhea, mal- absorption, iron-deficient anemia, vitamin deficiency, inflicting about 150,000 death every year and leaving people with tremendous disabilities and suffering. All which compromise socioeconomic lives as well as countries development. The control of these epidemic diseases includes a regular mass treatment of individuals at risk in endemic areas with Albendazole, Mebendazole or Pyrental Pamoate. Awareness rose through health education using media and school and parents and implementation of hygienic behavior within the society for example in using latrines, sewerage, and appropriate landfill management

In addition to its explosiveness, firecrackers are hazardous to people's health and lives. First of all, according to sources, firecrackers can trigger pneumonia or bronchitis caused by inhaling the smoke generated by firecrackers ( Kammerer; South China Morning Post ). Furthermore, many children do not realize the danger firecrackers can cause and are often burned and injured by these substances. Even adults can be physically harmed by firecrackers if they do not pay enough attention during the usage.
