Abstract—This paper describes the design and implementation of a Bluetooth controlled floor cleaning robot. It is a four wheeler robot and is designed in such a way that it will help clean the floor. It consists of a water tank, a vacuum and brush which clean for the floor. The movement of the robot is controlled by using a microcontroller Arduino UNO R3 and using a Bluetooth app with the help of a Bluetooth module. Robots have been used widely in industrial area, education, science and technology and home cleaning [1]. Cleaning is a necessity part in our daily life. Floor Cleaning Robot plays a very important role in cleaning and it makes human life easier, especially for women who work hard in their houses. These are also used in schools, industries too. And more importantly the robot runs with a microcontroller name Arduino and a Bluetooth module. Currently in the market we will see that the various kinds of floor cleaning robot has come out .Among them the greatest is the Roomba, iRobot, so basically our prototype is similar to that of Roomba which is usually called as the king of Vacuum cleaning robot.
