Among the many topics regarding religion and the modern world, one I find to be of great significance is the overall secularization of the world today. Christianity is slowly becoming less prominent, and religion in general has seemingly declined over the years, with attitudes towards it shifting significantly. In fact, in the next several years, “In Europe, Muslims will make up 10% of the overall population” and, “The number of Muslims will nearly equal the number of Christians around the world” (The Future). With Islam spreading so rapidly throughout the world, it is soon to be projected that Christians will be more of a minority.
